Guys,... i need sum enlightenment here.... my fren juz bought a K7 @ one of the infamous shop in the west..... its already been more than a mth but still the color dat he wants black/red is nt in stock.. so he go down there n finally decide to juz tke the white/blue... the salesman say he cn collect the bike but when he came down he was given an xcuse dat the bike is frm the U.S production n it has a power cut to it...n if my fren wants a euro model he gt to wait till nxt thursday...wahlau wait again.... jialat... well i wanna know apart frm the rotor warping problem frm the U.S models, is there a power cut also as wat is claimed by the sales guy....n if its true dat there is a power cut.... is it possible to fix the cut?

my fren really sian rite now... he really regret dealing wif the shop juz to save 2%GST.... aint worth at all.....

i think this is not evo.... try search for evo2 cos if im not wrong it shorter... about the stock length, make it looks on 04 - 06

for me i will go for the suit 1st

 

ur shake is left-right or front back??by the way,wat speed did u do ur free hand??skaly is the road condition tat causes the shake keke....FYI,my 01 handle bar is unstable in any speed under 80 when free hand

 

check, steering cone bearings and wheel bearings, since its a 2001 model, most likely bearings are worn out.

 

if u did fix a new tire, check the weights

 

then for more details, check fork tubes for leakage stains

 

lasty, the tire age and conditions

I ride a Blue R1 07... just wanna find out if anyone of u guys out there riding a 07 model face the same prob as me... when i ride the bike and let go of the handle bar... the handle bar will shake... i went 2 the yamaha agent and told them abt it... they just tighten the handle bar.. but i still face the same prob... can any1 help me??? thanx alot

 

ask them to check your front wheel spacers and steering cone bearings

 

and of coz ur tire pressure

 

if its a oem damper, it shdnt hv any problem

nv buy an evo 2 unless u are goin to do some engine mods,
