Hi K4/5 riders.

 

I have tot of upgrading to a Srad 600 sometime next year. Wondering wat the operating cost is like.

 

1) Insurance 2nd party----29yrs

2) Amt of Engine oil req

3) How long will BT020 last on this bike

4) Road tax per year?

 

 

ALso in terms of pick up, izit signifigantly more powerful than S4? (0-100kmh)

1) Rough guide for you..24year old 2nd party wif NTUC and 20% NCD = $578

2) 2.8l without oil filter change(With oil filter change would be around 3.2l)

3) K4/K5 comes stock with BT014..It lasted me for nearly 30k click..

4) $200 yearly

Best to check on the lumen rating of both bulbs - they are abt the same but if u want bright - I hv got H4 130/90watt producing 190/130watt - 3000 lumen & much cheaper than the Phillips being sold here, btw Phillips are also made in Korea.

Eh.. how come your insurance super cheap compare to mine?? Mine is $690++

1) Insurance for you will be around 500 plus or less I assume.

2) Depends on whether you need to change oil filter or not. 3L will be more than enough.

3) Like MC28 says, 014 is stock. Lasted me ard 13k only.. super botak. 020 maybe slightly better.. But it depend on your riding style. MC28's can last him 30k.. that is super impressive!! (oei mc28, you everyday add some rubber onto your tire isit?? )

4) $200 incl GST!! or isit??

 

G6 pickup is not that good. Partially is because it is retricted when stock. Normally ppl use TRE to derestrict it. Other way is to install PC3. After you destrict it, then the pickup is noticable better. But you still can feel the lack of power from 0~2.5krpm. Among the 600s, G6 has the worst low end power. But of course if you compare to a 400cc, it will defianetly be so much better. But take note 600cc is a high rev bike. It power band is usually at 10krpm onwards. So low end rpm power is not the issue here.

Dunno lehz..My latest renewal which was done in june cost me that amount..

 

Ya, everyday i will go melt some rubber to paste onto the tires...

 

Road tax is $200 flat yearly...

juz wana query, if my bike trade in for 5k, wad will be the avg inst for 3 or 4 years if itz new and if itz 2ndhand. had a fren ridin a g6 fy plate and am really in love wif the bike. so sick of riding s4 for 3yrs..btw im 25 yrs old.

 

planin to get aftr my dad get his class2 bike.

aitzzz... thank you. lookin fward to mit all gsx rider for info on bike mod once my baby is out! aniwae nice tri oval yoshi.. powerbronze hugger... btw motoworl sellin their bracket for no. plate and signal lite holder at $35 inclusive of installation. look more nicer the undertail... swee lar!!! cant wait... powerbronze double bubble windscreen at bike tech21 got it at $135 tinted.

CDI to overwrite it.

 

May I know wat is the "TRE" ?

 

Also, how much do the 2 mentioned gadgets cost?
