My bike is rather wobbly when I rode it this morning. I checked my rear tyres and it wasn't really that deflated. Dunno whether my Ohlin suspension has worn out or time to send it for servicing. Since I bought my bike in October 2005, I have never send it for servicing. Ditto on my damper as well. Is the place for Ohlin products servicing still Sporting Motors? Any other place to go other than this place???

WOBBLY? balancing weight drop off is it?

for normal rd riding, ohlin service intervals is every 18,000km

with heavy load + track days every 10,000km

heavy track user every 7,000km

for ohlins servicing, pls go to authorised service center (sporting, vector 1-henry or bmw-brian), coz for every single shock, they have a unique spec card to check + service every single detail parts. while other shops say " i will set it according to ur weight" or etc, is juz so not true.

main aim of suspension settings is to give maximum comfort and stability regardless of speed, its not abt rider weight... if u consider the fact that full or half tank, the bike have different weight, dun tell me when u ride half way, when its full tank, u get off the bike and set ur suspension again?

dun get cheated with the idea of setting the suspension to ur weight

Use the stock setup first. Then only u can feedback. Btw, not much u can do with stock suspension. There is only that little bit you can do.

the only thing u can do with stock settings, is very limited,

Sigh .... so bored ...

Getting Poorer every yr

No idea leh. In that case, my servicing of suspension is long overdue. Any idea roughly how much it costs to service???

First learn stand, then learn fly. Nature's rules biker-sans. Not mine...

side saddle as in saddle bags 'ala Harley saddle bags? o_O i dont think i will look nice on the bike at all. I will be curious how you mount it though and if it burns when in contact with the pipes.

But its a matter of taste, form over function or vice versa. I have seen a K2 1000 with a Monokey top box :giddy:

:p
