But this AFIS is on K6, not K7. Its also disapointment on the consumption, although the Suzuki is so adv in technology. Haix.

Anyway, now there is a chemical which mix with the petrol can extend mileage, mayb that can helps to save some petrol loh.

We should togather find the 'thing', which can helps us to extend mileage and save consumptions.

Its bcox of the 12 holes, which the toy drink like water.

So Gixxer, I urge you all to find out any products can help to solve the problem togather. Pls share around.

Ya bro, i agree with stony....there's always pros and cons. You want performance bike you cant be too choosy on the fuel consumption. If there is a bike with 24holes and can have mileage up to 300km think ppl wont buy any other bike already. Lol. Just kidding around

R1 is still the best in model of litre bike...

 

own k6 only 5 month, i sold my k6.....i used to ride my 05 R1 for almost 2 years and i sold it because i wreck it/accident....if i dont wreck it, maybe i never sold my 05 R1 and maybe never bought k6.....

im in love with my k6 for now...no heat, big down low power, more comfy than R1 (for my body)....a bit uglier but no problem... now only 500 km on odo ...still in break in mode...

Only difference between R1 07 and 08 are the colour schemes. Had you been to Dexing Ubi a month ago during their open house, you would have seen the 07 R1 on sale for $20.5K machine price...

Anyway I think Dexing wanna ketuk me. Add in everything blablabla... then still wanna add GST of 7%. The IU unit he added into the cost is oredi GST-ed, then still wanna GST me once again.

Have you tried recceing at Southern Motors? They too have 08 R1s. Some of my friends said that the bikeshop OK. Very straight forward, no hidden costs. Read some unfavourable reviews on that motordiam though. Maybe cos my friends are their regular customers so OK for them.

 

If you wanna wait for anniversary model, might as well wait for the R1 10. Sure new design and specs...

you might want to check out bike production along serangoon road

although alot people say he got sucky attitude

but at least the price he quote is final and no last minute adding of charges.

he quoted me at least $500 cheaper than other shops (some up to $2000 cheaper).

and a side note, if you late payment, he charge $10 nia, rather than some who charge super exhilarating price

The seller didnt wanna budge on the 5% interest, which i find ridiculous. Even my current bike, which is much cheaper, had an interest rate of 4.25% only. Looi's offered 4% flat.

 

BP int rate is how much ah? And the bikes from BP are PI or not?

You misunderstood me. What I meant was, better to get the 2010 R1 than the anniversary model. If you meant the anniversary model as in the limited edition one, sure it will be much more expensive than the normal brand new R1s cos of the goodies attached. Since you do have an issue with pricing, better wait out another year and buy the 2010 R1 lor. Going by Yamaha's pattern, next major specs change and design should be in 2010...
