This method is by engaging neutral gear. And then start throttling, slowly maintain your throttle till ard 2k plus rpm.. then clutch in.. your rpm will increase.. but dunno this is the correct way to test it or not..

haha i tried this method some time ago and it onli work for certain model of certain TRE. hehee...

anyway i'm using ah mu's diy tre. from what i can notice is that when u start the bike... the rpm will be slightly higher when u clutch in and will drop if clutch out. The other one is like what u guys say, slowly rev the throttle and it'll shoot up quickly once rpm is about 2k plus... correct or not ah mu ? :cheeky:

Actually I dun see a point to worry abt. As long you can feel the smoothness in acceleration and lesser engine brake, the TRE should be working fine.

for our model, what's the usual setting for fork suspension do u guys change to ? Rebuild the fork or just tune the damping/compression thingie ?

any pros and cons of having a soft stock setting compared to the stiff setting u guys are talking about

OEM Fork Oil is too soft..After rebuilding due to fork seal leakage and changing to fuchs race fork oil..The feeling is indeed different..

Suggest you send it to bikelab..I'm going there this coming sat to change my steering cone...
