not a problem...just need a 2-way switch and more wiring...

so far my experience with the TRE is that on cold start... sometimes you need to use the fast idle (choke) only for a minute or so...and it usually fires up after the second crank.

Of course if one's bke is already having hard starting w/o TRE, then that will only amplify the situation.. that's my experience with the TRE.

Shawn, i just did grounding for my bike, the 3k rpm sudden power is 90% eleminated!! omg, im so happy now.

Bike feels much much smoother and the response is superb, just felt as if i added in addictives tat help petrol burn easier.

HKL mech told me grounding diverts all extra current to ground instead of running within the electrical system within our EFI bike, for tat matter, it solved my 3k rpm sudden power up problem. i even heard ppl having their fuel consumption increased after grounding. can anyone verify this?

No more regrets.

295kmh = 184mph... that's above the spec sheet for the K1 which is stated as 169mph (restricted, I reckon)... still not fast enuf??

My SRAD top speed is only 220kmh (137mph)... after that the right hand won't cooperate* and automatically closes the throttle... hahaha... gimme a car and I'll clock top speed for you... on a bike... too scary

*one part of the brain likes to find out the top speed... but the other part says... stay alive sonny boy.. you got a wife and kids ;-p

ermmm... and many of you have loved ones... so don't be trying for top speed ok?....... just enjoy the rush of the acceleration... holding for top speed is keeping yourself in the "danger zone" for too long

sorry to nag... I AM an old man... mortality is a very real thing... better to get old and grey that to go out in a flaming glory (what glory is there anyway in dying on the roads... with pieces of the rider strewn all over the road... ... that's what happens when one hits the road at over 200kmh... road is not track... no run-off area..no gravel trap... only "beautiful ARMCO barriers that will (slow down a car grazing it but) rip riders apart.... gory?... it's real.

same mentality as me. i love just the response, pickup and the stability while cornering.. not so much of top speed. :cheeky:

like what john said, it should be the max for a k1 750, and i am on a knn filter, yoshi end can, nothing else...no PC....295km, what can i expect~?:cheeky:

anyway in american hitting 300km plus with a haya gauging is no problem....but of course their mod is excellent compared to ours~:cheeky:

you can take leave on the 17th? or 18th? jan? please confirm, my side i also need to take mar...:cheeky:

alamak bro... 5kmh top speed diff....

anyway... even things like a lower ambient temperature and humdity levels affects tuning and power... so don't be too pre-occupied with top speed la....

don't talk about mechanicals... even humans are affected by temp/humidity/altitude... if you've ever gone jogging in a cooler/dryer climate... you'll note that you don't tire so quickly... and seem faster... sama sama for machines la

Think about it... at 120bhp/200kg... our bikes have a power to weight ratio of 600bhp/ton... that's shite loads more than any $2mil car... enjoy.

Power is not how you wield it... but how you control it ;-p

Go ride!!!

hahaha... if I ever "bua" my knees... it's probably coz I am on all fours and the bike's already in the gravel trap.. hahaha

btw, heard some guys are going to PG tmrw....

I think I'll go and have a short blast and enjoy and keep my license safe ;-p

hope to see you guys there tomorrow or sometime soon.

Hey John, what do you think about ground wiring for EFI bike?

6 points?! wa so many.. the wire in the package is just enough for 5 point grounding. did they add wire to ur grounding package?

i only had 4 point grounding.. den got extra wire.. tinking of ways to put it in the bike just for fun (not grounding), coz the blue color looks very nice :cheeky: :cheeky: :cheeky:

the bike is super smooth now. actually, it is the response tat has improved, IMPROVED by ALOT!

thanks andrew for verifying. Shawn, time for u to do grounding!! :lovestruck:

No more regrets.
