Hi all! I finally fulfilled my dream by buying a K4. Since I am a noob with this bike, I have some very noob questions. (I couldn't find answer using the search function!)

 

1) How do you set the clock?

2) How do you set the shift light?

3) Error code C28 - it refers to the secondary throttle body. Does it hurt to continue riding? The odo is at 49k km now so I have another 1k km before major servicing.

 

I am also looking for the owner's manual and service manual to increase my knowledge about my bike. Hopefully in high quality PDF format. If anyone knows where I get them, or is kind enough to burn them to a CD for me, I'll gladly compensate you! (Kopi money, postage if applicable.)

Yo, Does It Make A Popping Or Clicking Sound And Felt In Your Grips?

 

yes, there is a clicking sound. but not a popping sound.

its rather irritate to mi. so i m wondering issit due to bearing??

i have change my front wheel bearing like a yr ago. i believe there war out fast.

as for my steering side. i have not problem or any difficultive in handeling the handel.

so i was wondering where went wrong.

Hmmm maybe not the wheel arh bro... how bout the steering nut was loose??steering bearings need to be re-torqued?? Try this... put the bike up on a rear stand, with help from someone else to stabilize go around the front of the bike and grab the bars including the front brake - push and pull on it slowly rocking back and forth. If the steering stem is loose you will feel a distinct click when moving it back and forth, if it seems ok chances are it is just the normal suspension noise from the front forks.

(or you could ask ur fren to position the bike upright( as if some one is ridding it, then push the bike forward/back wards and listen the clicking sound where it oirigin... if its from the wheels, then will be the bearing (no doubt if you change last year, the it worn off again, then its time to change a better set of wheels... bling bling lor.. if the sound is not from the wheels, then it is from the steering bearings...)

better not if you put worm... but i did tried after doing an internal patch... lasts quite well... tyre bald liao still holds air. but you never know when it will give way... anyway i slow rider so its ok...
