Hmm... Eversince the engine likes to knock under load, I tried to sort it out b4 whackin too hard.

Changed the plug to 1 step colder, flush the radiator n topup wid engine ice. It still knock under the same condition but slightly softer.

Suspect ign timing set too high.... where/how do I adjust the ign timing? btw, which wrkshp is gd at r1?

 

I also changed to legal akra slipon today n realised most off the lowend torque r missing in action....

I've heard abt pc3 but not too sure abt it. So wad do I need to gather? jus the pc3 or need other stuffs like harness or wadeva module?

Diff btwin pc3 n pc wideband?

Last but not least, where/who's gd tuner for this?

 

I do not wan to kill the engine by detonation. Advanced thanks a million n great appreciation to u guys!

adjust the ignition timing u need to use Ignition Module, a product from Dynojet, then u also need use PC3 together with Ignition Module to yweak ur fuel management, OR go to dyno shop to get custom map....thats it....

wideband is module to count the a/f ratio so we can tune our bike accurately....its a lot of headache and time to tune....better go to dyno shop and custom map...its worth it....but if u like to play with tuning ur bike, then buy wideband then tune ur bike urself....

k...Poured in a bottle of injectors cleaners n pump a tank full of caltex platinium n whack the bike in low to high gears high load, low load, no more knocking. Must be the synergy8000 from esso.... maybe I didnt see properly n jus pumped the syn5000.

k, few more probs to bother u guys again.

 

1- Dunno wad the mech who installed my akra was thinking, immed aft installation, he started the bike, ya, its normal, they'll have to start it. but jus start only he jus throttle till redline for nothing n white smoke shot out of the muffler!! jus abit only, I tot siao liao, ring gone, (cos still got detonation problem so its really dangerous to redline it.) but den, aft that on idle, no more liao. really hope its condensation in the muffler cos they were in the a/c showroom before I bought them...

 

2- Last time ride aprilia, rvf, gilera n I also got an x1r now, All carb, so carb bike just go wash n tune carbs, how abt fi bike? wash the throttlebody? can tune or is it wad they call throttlebody sync/injectors sync?

Who does a gd job n how's the damage($$$) like?

FI bikes don't require cleaning of injectors at all. Because it's all electronic. Most of the time it's not even dirty inside at all. To tune, you'll need a Power Commander (PC3)

 

Maybe you need a valve clearance job instead.

Didn't sleep the whole nite,at 3 am went over to mum-in-law's stall to help out coz got somebody order food for function..

 

Ehk if u guys free2 come down and try her cooking la,I can assure u guys won't regret..

Power one,it's at jurong east ave 1 market there..
