Hi guys, need some advise from you about horn.....how are you guys able to install the aftermarket horn into K7/8 bike? Any recommendation? I check with my bike shop, and couldn't find any place to install it...i like to hear from you guys to see any recommendation....

 

As promise the pic of how my Piaa Sports Horn(1 x 500Hz, Mid Tone) is mounted on my bike, the down side is that you cannot splash water from the front, if nt gonna unscrew and CPR the horn..

 

I paid $28.28 per horn from Autobacs..A pair should damage you around $58..

 

Autobacs recently selling it as a pair with different tone(400Hz = Low, 500Hz = Mid, 600Hz = High) combi, the best part is that it comes with a small cover infront to block out the water.

 

To me, this single horn alone beats having 2 Stebel Magnum, maybe even Hella, draws a low current of 2.8A thus if you use a pair then you need a relay, if nt direct mount will do..

 

Can ask Evilgixxer also, he heard my horn and ask me to get for him a 600Hz(High) tone one..

need help my R1 water just broke...

i suspect it's somewhere in the cooling system even the fans that's cools the engine after switching off did't work...

bike takes longer than usual to restart after stopping...

temp meter kept showing "LO" all the way instead of temp reading....

 

that will happen if for a long time, the coolant is not changed and flushed during the periodical maintenance ...

 

time for the 09 model?

 

for any bikes be it the latest or future models as long as no maintenance done is still the same ... which will result in breakdowns

 

anyone knows how much does it costs to respray R1?

Hm... a few months back i encounter similiar problem , my temp meter showing '' HI '' and my bike cant start at all ten follow by a error code ! Even when you can start the bike and along the way it show "HI" instead of the temp ! In the end found out that its actually one of those electrical connection came loose ! The connection is somewhere in the head fairing !

haha... good for u.. rest alot so can recover fast2... if u sien2 then borrow some1 wheelchair, can roll here and there... if u also sien with my suggestion, u try playing the small pocket push bike for small kids.... at least got sumtink to do....

just wanna share with you'll while riding hm, kana gsr600 i think lap mi ar @ tpe from changi north till jln kayu.. dun wan to lap him but he cut mi at right side so near till i can't tarhan.. lap him till jln kaya.. dun wan to chase him liao reach hm liao... think he xiao 1 ar.. i think new bike 1 wan to show off.. fbc**** tail light i think he molified 1 kawa 1000cc type.. think he racer meh.. new gsr600 can win gsxrk1?

The headache comes to looking for a place to mount it..Luckily i found out about this Piaa Sports Horn which i feel 1 is louder than both my Stebel Magnum combine..

waah...ask me arh...Lol...of cos i say akra larh. haha. come down la one of these days...lim kopi with us...u can hear all kinds of exhaust if u want. u will love the akra... anyway, there is no right and wrong answer for ur question...it's up to individual preference. if u want to talk about better there's so many kinds...sound maybe...performance maybe...but then again, some ppl will argue exhaust alone isn't the only thing when it comes to "better"...other performance parts...tuning...etc etc...comes into play. ride safe. cheers`
