I just broke my FZ1 virginity also. But not so unlucky like u guys. A cab makan my lane on a left turn at junction. I stabbed my footbrake while banked, locked the rear and lost grip, loud screeching noise and my rear end started to come around. And then I released the footbrake in a reflex reaction.....

 

... and a minor miracle happened.

 

The bike popped up (onset of highside)... and the head fairing just next to the headlight bumped/scraped the cab's rear quarter as I came vertical. The bike basically popped up, hit him, and stablized right there!

 

I didn't lowside the bike, and I didn't high side it either. Phucking lucky break!!!

 

Was actually quite pissed with the ah pek yellow top cab driver initially. But on hindsight and looking on the bright side... his cab saved me from a highside when the bike popped up and scraped him. LOL.

 

So I lost just a bit of paint at the front and had my signal light dislodged. Can have it patched back for under 50. He lost a bit of paint on his rear quarter too. So we just called it even.

 

Was partially my fault too for entering that turn.... just a wee bit.... too fast and too leaned over. :p

The cab save me from highside. You better ask that semi-toothless 60+ year old ah pek to teach you something. He champion... drive like F1. Cut me off at the turn, then still can save my bacon from highside. Even Schumacher can't do that..... :angel:

Something similar, but no knee down hor. Replace with ass on the tarmac, sh1t stains/skid marks on my seat..... then pls insert one cab on the right side with toothless smiling ahpek driver.

It's that SG drivers simply CANNOT turn within their lanes

 

I suspect turning within lane kills them or something :lol:

Hahahah ... Noticed dat too... Extra worrying espescially when I see a 'reflective mountain' displayed... Nothing against P Platers though if they have the skill to do so but those reckless racer wannabes are really endangering their own lives as well as others... Worrying trend emerging here in SG espescially when car prices are so cheap nowadays...
