Seems like there are gonna be 4 New R1'09 riders here.

 

u mean already sold as in otr already? i thought only one otr an indian chap ryte with akra race system?..

Yeah, you bet.. Even the spare parts and the aftermarkets are hard to find and it will drive u crazy while waiting for the shipments ...

 

aiya.. can always try ebay for spares mah... worse come to worse try DIY or try using japs bike spare part lor.... who know the bolt n nut might be the same.... hehehe

hi guys..anyone encountered their r1 06 hard to start the bike? after a few hard press on the button than can start..just change the ori batt n starter carbon but still cant start properly...anyone help meeeeeeeeeee

when did u last change your battery since u said just? is it a month ago or a few weeks ago?

 

cause i have a few guess:

 

1) if u just change your battery and service the carbon starter a few days ago, the battery could be faulty

 

2) if u just change your battery and service the carbon starter a few months ago, your rectifier could be the case.

 

by the way, u mean very very difficult to start up but has very loud and clear cranking sound or very low and weak cranking sound???

i jus got my k8 and it can only be out next week... sian... anyway hope to get to know you guys soon.

 

anyway short intro bout myself... am riding a suer 4 spec 3 till i get my new baby... she's going to be black and gold color.. thinking of changing the color scheme though...

 

so mean time qing duo duo zi jiao.. =)

so how's the bike bro...u tested it on sat right? best just keep the color...spray a race fairing any color u want wud be ideal :thumb:
