if yes, could you kindly provide the price and how could i get them from you?

For our slider, u can choose to have or not to have internal metal support. Price the same, as some customer have different encounter with internal support.

 

may i just enquire what exactly is the purpose of the internal metal support?

 

thought the slider should be made of delrin, so as to grind off the material on contact with the ground..

if there is a metal support inside the slider, wont it affect the grinding-off capability of the slider, because there comes a point where the metal is scraping the ground, preventing the delrin frm doing its job?

G6k9 mid frame slider, clutch slider mainly for yamaha inverted clutch. All mid frame slider comes with internal metal support. $80 with installation, u can get them from our shop at Depot lane blk4001 #01-10 12-8pm daily. Cheers

internal support is actually to enhance the screw from breaking off. is actually a support for the screw where when the screw will bend due to hard impact. but there are times where the impact is so strong that the internal metal support break the engine frame mounting (hollow alloy frame). This happen often many years back on old carb R1 which i have see on other brand slider. So our 1st concept of slider is remove the internal support & construct the slider with full derlin. this way the slider will break off if the impact is too strong. till tat happen will let the fairing takes the impact but way lesser damage bcos the 1st impact has been reduce greatly by the slider. based on my 10 years slider experience in race & street, result mainly depend on how the crash happen, speed & where the impact hit on the slider. slider is more of like frame protection not fairing protection. The slider we made for asia pac & mss is way shorter than those street use slider. my 1st pair bought slider on my g1 which came with bracket actually cause a deep cut on my frame & causes both screw hole to be egg shape... from here on we start off our slider without internal support but then there are users that believe internal support is good so we let them decide if they want or don want. no worry of the scraping as the metal support is on the slider base & near the frame area. never have i see one that was totally scrap till the bone (internal metal support)

also if u are using the mid frame slider, the 2 slider will reduce the impact+lesser sliding distance+ bike lesser chance of spinning (1 slider at times will become the bike balancing point which will cause bike to spin). hope this will give u a better view of how slider actually works

fix up first then u ride n feel how is the AFR. if its dam screw up like mine megaphone, u need to tune. otherwise engine is going to get hurt by too lean AFR.
