I am planning to get either a gsx 750 k4 or a 1000 k4

Could anyone here help me out as to what to look out for when doing a purchase and

also the service intervals for the timing chains and valve clearnces??

I have been on hondas for the past 12 or so years and dun really know much about suzzies.... I will appreciate any advice at all...Thanks...

my bike die this janaury, diagnosed by HKL and change starter relay, retrifier and battery cost 150. total 500+-

 

april i leave my bike key on and ignition there also=. return 6hour later and relived to find my key still there. however batt alrd drain empty. tried push start down the slope but useless.

 

i use x1r and use jumpstart wire to jump start it. same way like car. let it charge. wack my k7 around and it work perfectly till today.

 

 

 

so in future any bro wana try jumpstart can assure its fine and can call me up to help if im free.

When i was riding rvf, went there to tune carb and stuff.

B4 he tune my bike, he shouted super loud

" HKL head mech going to tune bike liao!!!!"

Worse thing, the bike is better even b4 i do servicing.

it's still using YTX-9 which is the super 4 batt.

 

i know some bikes like CBR600 using YTX-12 which is quite costly.

I remember asking for pricing of brembo pump and venhill post.. after getting his price he lectured me for also 30mins leh. cannot tahan leh.. he will start to talk bout other shop.. i once got irritated, i hang up the phone and he call me back 1 min later to continue lecture..gave me a headache!! haha.. can just imagine..

Heya guys i need help. Currently im ridng a gsxr 600 k7.

recently when starting up my bike, when i clutch in and start the bike, it gave a weak start but it still start as per normal and can move as per normal and no lags.

 

But today, when i switch it on as per normal, i switch it on and can only hear like the spark sound of the bike and the whole system died.

Then when i release it, its back to normal as when i use the key to switch it on again( as in the meter gauge needle go back and forth again).

 

what could be the problem?

Battery? spark plug?

 

Cant be ther rectifier or coil.. coz i change it 1 year ago..
