2010 july 10-sept 14: Daelim Roadwin 125

16 sept 2010 - 5 oct 2012: Bajaj pulsar 200 DTSI

18 march 2013- ? : Honda NSR sp

 

I once set on a S1000r and the curse begun, u never wanna ride anything else besides sports bikes ever again!

hi all, i'm a first time rider on a gixxer 750. i know this sounds noob but my meter shows F1 with the red light on.. a further check reveals that my bike has a lost in power when i throttle up my bike. a visit to a mechanic and he says my "power valve" motor gone case.. could any1 sheds some lights on this matter? appreciate it.. thanks in advance..

ball(less) after my close encounter with the grim reaper.. dunno whether i should carry on riding..:sian:

it also can be the sign for fuel pump fail... do you experience having off the key switch n on it again den the bike can start??

 

best if can pick up the error code.. me myself also donno how to get the error code..:cheeky:

how is suzuki's reliability and wad u think the gsxr need to improve on?

 

perfect bike for a 1st class2 sprtbike;(new 2011 model have rembo caliper).

try not to get r6 unless ur tracking manic. riding posture is so sosososo jialat till a ride in traffic jam make u wana take taxi. but the power wise is good at high rpm.

quite a few possibilities. did the mech checked the FI error code? if no, go and get a second opinion from another mech and this time ask him to check the error code. Error code will be much more direct diagnostic.

need to improve on ****ing brakes. but like hackers said...2011 got RAMBO brakes. lol. if u considering 2011 model, gsxr wud be quite a gd choice. super weight savings and brembo brakes. but no matter 2011 or older models...u can always upgrade. :thumb:

best to see ur FI code to determine whats wrong. in order to see ur error code, you need to get the bike into dealer mode.

 

You can learn to get to dealer mode and learn alot of stuff about ur GSXR here.

Just go under "Dealer mode" and get your bike into the mode den your meter will display the error code number. Then search it under FI error codes to determine whats wrong.

ooo... den you need to to follow red rose suggestion.. perhaps go back to the shop n ask for error code... if that particular shop cannot den go to another shop n ask to check for ur error code... good luck :cheers:

thank you red rose:) i guess brakes can change bigger disc if have and rcs 19 brembo also can change:) sounds like a wise choice for a 600cc bike:)

btw. wads the fuel consumption per litres like?
