I think you refer to the engine mounting that will break away. Good and bad point of a long slider is that if your bike suffer a light fall , it will be sure that your faring will not suffer much damage, just like my pervious 929, no damge done to the bike expect myself. But if the impact is big, the bad point is that it might break your engine mounting point, but i have seen normal slider breaking the engine mounting point too. So a slider does help , but it can be a headace too if you fall to hard. Engine mounting point break , the slider bolt bend and got stuck inside.

if the engine mount break got anyway to fix back?

travel all the way up NS high way till u reach the toll at KL.. after the toll keep left.. 2nd exit turn left leading towards cheras high way.. travel straight towards cheras.. u can see zoo negara on your left.. travel about 20km and u will see the genting highland sign board.. then from there will be easy.. when r u going? can i join u?

to those riding 01 r1, have u guys experience heat under the seat? mine seem to be coming from the rectifier... seems to be really hot. only noticed this a few days ago.

My 02 R1 also very hot. If travelling on normal roads, the temperature will be in the range of 98-104 degrees. When it reaches 104 degrees, the fan will start spinning. Along the expressways, the temperature will be around 85-90 degrees. Now my bike problematic also. Once the temperature reaches above 100 degrees, the idling will become erratic and the engine dies on me. Anyone has any idea why???

My friend is located in US and he asked whether i want a piece as it is pretty reasonable price there. but with shipping cost, it will cost the same as what motorworld(BMC AIR FILTER) is offering at $170 for our 2006-2007 GSXR 600/750. From what he said its a RACE AIR FILTER and not the normal BMC air filter(difference in price).

 

BMC Race Filter is at USD$85 convert SGD$135

Shipping is at USD$33 convert SGD$52

 

I need at 5 in a group to get it at $145.40

 

I dont know whats the respond gonna be like, if this still expensive then please tell me where i can get a cheaper RACE AIR FILTER.Please PM me if interested.
