yup u are right. Theortically speaking its like that. But i also don't know why :weep:

When the thermostat was taken out, the part where the hose is connected to the mouth of the thermostat was actually broken off :sian:

installing PC3 will make your bike more responsive and smooth but it

doesn't reduce fuel consumption for my 03R1..Basically Yamaha's

stock setting of air/fuel is normally lean(worse if u install aftermarket exhaust),

to reduce emission/polution..

So if you do PC dyno-tuning at the "qualified" workshop , the dyno

machine will read that fuel is lean and tuner will richer it..means to

increase amount of fuel sprayed in on every 500rpm..

Correct me if I'm wrong ..

Anyway mine hit 230 - 240 before reserve...provided dun whack

while on my way back from M'sia custom...

Btw anyone here tried the DOUBLE IRIDIUM spark plug

from HODAKA(Motoworld)? Will be great to have your comments

about it...

yup u are right bro ... it makes your response smoother and more responsive ...

but in some cases, it may not help to increase your fuel mileage or get better fuel consumption if your air/fuel mixture is already being optimise ...

wow....double iridium plug??sama splitfire with 2 hook ar??sounds powerful.....how much is 1?

well guys, just a word of caution for those interested to change to a higher spark output spark plug ....

Your OEM piston might not take the spark and heat given out by these high performance spark plug which will result in a hole being made on your piston crown heads as which i have saw before.

The way to minimise this problem is to change your OEM ones to a high comp piston which may eliminate this problem .... So guys be careful :goodluck:
