Dry cell. No idea how long it lasts. I change mine yearly.

Erm, wrong. It actually to destrict the bike at 1st to 3rd gear for 600 and 750. You still can rev to redline, but it just get there slower that all. For 1000 and busa, it will destrict the 6th gear, so that your bike can go over a certain rpm.

I'm not sure if it's made in china. But the box labels as Shinko Battery Co Ltd.

I've checked with Hong Leong before getting from Ah Boy actually. Hong Leong quoted me ard 210 bucks. :giddy:

The caused of such is becoz of my alarm. My alarm's got both shock & perimeter sensor. It's the perimeter sensor which drains the batt.

 

Initially, I thought my batt was faulty, so I bought a newer 1, which is the Shinko. But after some time, the problem occurred again. I simply couldn't crank. The only choice is to push start.

 

So, I did some tests & found my alarm to be the cause. My batteries working fine now after re-charging them. Thus, leaving me with 1 spare battery. Haha

There are 2 types

One u need to add eletrolite then u seal it...

 

The other one is like HP batt, just take out and use, no need to charge is pre charge at the factory...

 

Both are maintance free battery.

I used the first which cost a lot more but I heard from my friend it actually last him 3 years...Not sure is was true but seem we can ride big bike, just spend a bit more to get peace on my mind...
