The new ybr looks abit weird lei.. One big plastic flat fairing on the side..

I saw the new YBR, FBF plate for 1st time on the road today. Looks decent. The headlamp seriously look a whole lot better than the current one. The current one screams "Please throw me away!" lol

@yinghai

Bro, i was thinking of doing this. Remove my air box and put in perhaps a universal air filter to my carb and crankcase vent filter.

Universal Rubber Filter

Crankcase Vent Filter

Regarding the measurements, the carb intake is 40mm and the rubber hose for the crankcase breather hose is 10mm, am i correct?

If this cannot work, initially I was actually thinking of using an old air filter element, cut out the old filter, then i add in those HEPA filter for vacuum cleaner and use silicone to hold it in place.

What do you think bro of these ideas?

Thats what i did bro, take out the old element and put after market foam filter.. As for the breather tube you might wanna try pulling out the tube and ride around see how it goes.. Lim said the bike is heating up with the tube remove..

What aftermarket filter did you use to retrofit into the stock ybr filter element?

I see...

Anyway, i cleaned my air filter and while cleaning it, i realised the metal mesh came off. So i removed the whole metal mesh and i assumed more air flow would be better.

Boy i was wrong! Pick up sucks now, bike gets significantly hotter and big, fast throttle will result in 'blips or bloops or throttle lagg'. Only good thing is that smoother engine sound and feel only. That is all. I need to buy a new air filter liao.

Anyway, iridium sparkplug for YBR good? Or is it overkill and unnecessary?

I have no idea what brand i was using. Previously using ngk.. Then i use denso all the way.. What i feel is that its much easier to start.. Save fuel too.. First use on my cagiva mito.. Then never gone back to normal plugs till now..
