[Latest Flood Situation] Southern Thailand

Anyone heading up north during this long weekend?

 

Sadao all the way up to Surat Thani is quite badly flooded.

 

I am heading up to North Thailand and have to travel through Sadao, Hatyai (which is badly affected) and would like to know any info that is useful.

 

Is there any other routes I could take for the journey up?

NSHW closed from Alor Star upwards. (heard that water over 2m)

Alor Star to Changloon took me 2 hrs+ using dirt tracks, trunk road, water about 40cm deep at parts.

 

Dan Nok to Hatyai all clear. good to go.

 

Hatyai town no more water. In total chaos. Debris everywhere. Army activated to clear up the mess.
