I went to looi's today and saw both bikes.

Saw a used Blue f800gs for sale there and it was love at first sight.

My mind tells me to get a Tiger but my heart says the F800GS.

Looi boss mr. Lee told me not to hurry as it would take around 3months to get my class 2 and there may be newer bikes by then.

Hi all Seniors here,

Had not been on a motorcycle for >10 yrs and lose touch with all models totally. Just so happened that while I was cycling passed Mandai a year ago, saw a green and beige Bonnie parking near the reservoir n since..... Dreaming about riding again. Got my Bonnie last month and started to read about bike touring.... Realised, I may have gotten the wrong bike for it :(

My Bonnie has yet to hit 500 km, and now I am, looking at a Tiger. Guess I shd get a secondhand one, but they are expensive. (Mah quoting 29k all in with accessories) like to checking with seniors here, since thread started 2010, for reliability issue thus far. Thanks....

Hi all, just wondering if any of you have experienced any paint bubbles at your engine area?

Yes - common issue. I believe Triumph fixed some of these for free during the warranty period. It's caused by an incorrect process during the factory paint job. The issue affects several Triumph models. It's not exactly cheap to fix properly, if anyone wants to take the time and effort to organize a group deal for repainting, I might be interested.

So if my bike is under warranty, this should be covered? Based on experience, not pleased with Mah's service.

Pretty much, I cannot think of a single reason why someone would want to ride a 260kg bike. Of course, the "market" disagrees with me - just look at the number of BMW GS / GSA on the road, but this brings up another point - it's a competitive market category, 90% of which is owned by BMW.

is that all due to weight?? how abt maintenance n resale value
