my friend's altis front left bumper mount the kerb, the bottom of the bumper is scratched and the paint is peeled off.

 

how can he mend the paint back? how much are the costs?

can try Sze Kang (agaga spell) in AMK auto point. i tried once for dent & paint job, feel it is reasonable price & good workmanship. decide on 1 price & that will be it, no hidden cost

Depends on damage can range fr 100-300 usually and workmanship cuz u pay for what u get

how serious ? if jus paint flake off, go look for touch up paint and DIY. Find closest color possible. For car, day to day ..scratch, dents, scatches , stone chips will accumulate more and more.

When changing timing belt, is the radiator coolant flush out and replace as well? But when we are not changing timing belt, the coolant will have to be pumped out by machine and replace?

most workshop will advise to change the waterpump when you change your timing belt. if you change your water pump, then definitely the coolant will be drained out unless you turn the car inside down

 

But when we are not changing timing belt, the coolant will have to be pumped out by machine and replace?

 

depends what you change lah, spark plugs, engine oil definitely no need to change coolant. if you change radiator, any section of the radiator piping, them you will need to change. anyway don't understand your question.

 

just unplug one of the radiator piping below the radiator and it will be drained out. no need machine to pump.

thats what i thought so too, but this mechanic at esso where i did tyre rotation, balancing, said they cant do coolant flush, cause they dont have the machine for it!
