i'm currently serving NS.. and why i'm getting a 600cc bike is because of what i'm going for.. a 1L bike will be too much to handle for me.. but for folks after the high speed and power thrill.. i think the 1000 is the way to go.. but the thing is.. *no offence* but.. i seriously see more abusing then having the ability utilising.

There are countless cases whereby riders of 600cc & 750cc upgraded themselves to 1000cc bikes. Their thirst for performance grew and a 600cc / 750cc machine could no longer satisfied them.

 

Cases of riders changing from 1000cc to 600cc / 750cc do exist. Reasons like high insurance premium, high roadtax, "no difference in performance", "seldom got the chance to fully utilised the bike" are commonly their considerations.

 

Like what Ken said:" Go for the 1000 if situation permits.

If not, the 600 is also a good bike."

 

All the current 600cc are fantastic machines. If I were to choose, the 636 would be my choice. (despite the insurance premium, spare parts and stuff).

All depend on the rider whether is he ready to commit himself.

 

If you are afraid of this, scared of that, then save the trouble, forget about buying. Go and take public transport.

 

- 636 cannot get top speed you want and you get piss off.

If you are looking for top speed, get busa / 12R. What kind of top speed do you expect from a 600. A 600 is recommended for Singapore road use (commuting) / track use. A busa / 12R got the top speed and only during touring trip then you will be able to utilise their potential. Main purpose of modifying a 600 is not for top end but for torque.

my bike was bought from bike production (ah swee) but they order it from boon siew .So you want it you must call ah swee to order for you first.

 

I think boon siew still have a red and blue one and mah have a blue one on display .
