thk bro for the contact. Went down to look for botak to do a full service for my st200... Woah...he charge $280 for full service which i feel its quite on the highside... I ask my frd who do his servicing at other place, they charge around $200.. No doubt his service is gd =/

 

Anyone can share where they do their full service and how much?

Maybe you changed extra stuffs? Botak is not the kind to over-charge his customers like some of the shops here in SG. He's one of the best in my personal opinion.

Some people will not help you without a profit or gain. But botak will definately help when he can.

he also gotta pay operating costs (e.g. rental, utilities bills, phone bills, etc) and daily living expenses mah.

 

in any case, botak is NOT known for low prices, but he still has his supporters becos they like his service, workmanship and of course friendship.

whether his price is low is up to individuals to decide... 不是我们说了算.

but of course, there're such things as better prices for kakis.

so whoever goes down better make sure he/she is likeable before patronising his shop.

hmmm... but if i as a customer has to "please the mechanic", i'ld rather go elsewhere

TS... just go and try his full service...different feeling of ride....u won't regret....He advised me if do full service under him....it can lasts around 17 000km....To me it is worth it. Furthermore, he got service the clutch whereas some other shops did not service it.

Botak is the most honest mechanic in SG. He never over charge his customers. There was once when i was at his shop, an indian customer called. As Botak couldn't speak english. He ask me to ans the call for him. I forget what the customers wants to change. And Botak told me it was $5 ( I find that $5 was too cheap ) so i told the customer that it was $10 dollars. The customers says it cheaper than other shop, and he will come to see Botak in an hours time. And when i told Botak that i told the customer $10 instead of $5 He was very very angry with me. saying how can i over charge the customer. Botak is the most HONEST Mechanic with very reasonable price....

From what I see (literally) those bikes with issues other mechs cant solve or tried to solve but ended up worst (reason being this shop cost less than Botak's), ended up coming to Botak to let him solve/rectify the issue.

I believe most of the scoots guys here experienced something similar as said.....

Yes, I support this statement. If you have a problem with the scooter but don't know why it is so, he is the one you can rely on to investigate and fix it.
