Have not been to PML servicing a long time; is Mustafa still there? Last time I do not get to interact with the mechs, but with Kris instead. I'll rather deal with the mechs who are actually working on the bile but Kris did seem to know what has been done.

My brief experience with PML is that while they may not be cheaper than non-dealer mechs, there's ease of getting parts and a clear breakdown of what they did i.e. accountability.

I do love walking over to the repair area to check out the beemers whenever I happen to be at PML, especially when there are old beemers around.

The nice waiting lounge and showroom translate to overheads, hence PML's prices are not as low as alternative mechs, that is my take. I enjoy working on bikes and hence, that helps me with keeping running costs down. Like any other bikes, a lack of investment on maintenance will lead to eventual higher repair cost. That was my experience with other marques.

The Americans seems to have the same problem; they said BMW stands for Bitch Moan and Whine! :)

Cheers

By M tech bro, most of the damages are cosmetic parts, so i left it for them to replace the parts.

Quite nicely done up, except the fact that they are short handed and need alot of pushing!!!

I think Eris not there anymore so they abit short handed.

Did contemplated on dynojet PC, Booster Plug and Power FRK but decided to try the Accelerator.

After a week of testing with the Extended Vision of the Accelerator Module fitted on my 08 GSA wanted to share that the results were very good.

Personally i highly recommend this for b/m performance benefit to overcome the Lean Fuel Mixture especially if a full exhaust system is fitted:

1. Smoother idling on cold start up.

2. Better throttle respond.

3. Smoother and Stronger Acceleration.

4. Notice lower engine operating Temp.

5. Exhaust POPPING tremendously reduced from Loud to occasional faint popping for full exhaust system with K&N air filter.

Since it a Plug and Play, it's very easy to revert but to original.

Basically in a nutshell, this device works by deceiving the ECU that the ambient air temp is minus 20 degree from actual temp so more fuel will be needed to be injected.

I know this products, I knew of a few riders already having it.

Good stuff. :thumb:

I always wonder what the real life difference between the long and short ?

2008 GS onwards can only use long ?

IMO, shorter transmit signal faster.

Thanks to both for the feedback.

My bike is stock but these post have re affirmed this accelerator module is something worth the time and money. As i am still within warranty, i'll hold off till August when the warranty expires then i'll install it.

btw... is the warranty from PML 2 years or 3???
