Do you need to fill up a form in their website before heading down to their office?

 

Malaysia as usual with their shiit, I always fail to fill in online.

There is once top up my Touch n Go with May Bank ATM machine 200rm, end up zero at the toll ... :faint:

Bros, easy process. I did mine at 2nd link imigration, the MACS ONESTOP office is just a few meters ahead after the checkout counters for motorbikes. Print and fill up this form, forget about online application.

Just make sure you have at least 2 years validity for your passport, proof of frequent entry, 1 passport photo and 30Rm. 10-15 mins is all it takes, instant collection over the counter.. Hope this helps :thumb:

Hm... Attractive price.. Does it come with the panniers? If yes than it's a good buy already... Pml selling close to fifty k with the alu panniers x3 (sides and top). Bike price only..

please do not slag the country where you can enjoy riding our slightly more powerful machines. there maybe various shortcomings up north, i freaking know for sure being one of them, but at least we have proper roads where we can use our bikes :angel:

 

the day they get their act together and impose the rules that exists in s'pore will be a very good day for all of us, right?

 

enjoy the country and lack of enforcement while we can, take the good with the bad or just ride around the island where we live. I did so on my bicycle, it can be done in under 4hrs. :cheeky:

 

but please ride carefully with respect for others (BMW's riders are usually ok), we have lost too many of our fellowship and should not create a bad name for ourselves.

Anyone has any figure for the fc of rt n gs(normal)? How many km/litre? Cos I find my fc not very good for a st. 80/20 (city/highway) Singapore road abt 15km/litre and abt 19km/litre for Malaysia highway and roads.

You mean you fill up the form over the counter? I'm also having problem with the online application.

Bro yem paul.. they should have forms over the counter but its easier to click on the pdf file hyperlink.. print it and fill it up first.. it will save a bit of time.

Bro, I've tried doing it ... but everytime I submit in with all the details, they will prompt me a message of ' Record Fail to Create' ... tried many times but get the same message over and over again ...:cry:

Changed my roadster's one from stock to a GS's. Shorter wheelbase, higher bike. Faster turning, allegedly less stable at speed (never tested). Rear wheel no longer off the ground when on centre-stand; more like 4 point parking now, 2 wheels and the legs of the centre-stand.

Hi, didnt notice it during my last ride with you... hows the parking with side stand? does it lean too much?? thought of changing the strut bar too

 

Why not get the GS main and side stand too, so can park 'normally' :cheeky:

Hi guys,

 

Stumbled across this thread and it's good to know that there are quite some followers here... ;-) Just hopped onto the R11s board and enjoying the ride now. Loved the boxers torque! :cheeky: The moment I noticed straight away is that the 2 cylinders are too bare and would suffer damage in a fall. If there's anyone letting go your spare cylinder guards do PM me. Know majority would go for aftermarket as it is easier on servicing and looks nicer.

 

Also, I noticed that the rider seat metal bracket that allows height adjustment is missing.. any ways to get a replacement? ;-)

Hiya, .... Now that you mentioned it, side-stand parking may lean a bit more but hardly noticeable to me; I mostly park on the main-stand, even if for a while. Won't change to a GS main-stand, I kinda like the 4-point parking; for access to rear wheel I just put the main-stand over a plank to elevate it :)

 

If the side-stand leans too much, put a block or something to elevate it. There are some nice ones that I saw before, billet etc. A thick rubber pad tap-screwed to the stand also works.

 

Change the strut-bar if you want more flickability in corners.

Ur roadster is using the 3rd gen paralever or 2nd gen? How come the rear touches the floor? Any other "improvement" beside the faster turning?

What do you mean by 3rd or 2nd gen paralever?

 

The GS's paralever strut has a different length from that of the Roadster's, hence it affects the wheelbase as well. No other improvement; unless you consider a taller bike and the 4-point parking thing "improvements". Not a crucial mod, and certainly not one I recommend to the speedsters since it supposedly affects high speed stability.

 

Interestingly, the airheads' GS and Roadster has the same length paralever strut.

My RS just developed this problem yesterday; after a short ride and a quick break it does not want to fire up after that! The starter will crank but the boxers won't come to life. The tank is almost full so petrol is not the issue. Anyone can shed a light? Troubleshooting procedures? :cry:

fuel pump kaput? maybe can ask someone with GS911 to help?

could be iginition cable? or iginition coil? no spark to start the engine. Had the problem once.
