Hi guys, just a question. It is stated under fuel for gsa tech spec as:

 

"Unleaded super and premium, octane number 95-98 (RON)

(knock sensor; rated output at 98 RON); optional extra 91 (RON) available"

 

Does it mean that we need to modify some setting in order to pump 91 gasoline e.g. in Thailand. Or do guys just pump gasohol?

nope.

the BMW management system automatically adjust the settings is it detect lower grade petrol. if iirc.

Haha planning swee2 first..wait for money reinforcement from june bonus..probably i should book first ah knowing it will take a few mths to come right?

PML Normal red n yellow GSA cost 46k plus on the road.

As for black GSA cost 1k more.

Just wondering any riders riding the R1200GS/A here ride without the catalytic converter, but a straight through headers and using the oem end can? How is the backfiring and response? Was thinking of buying a akrapovic header and fit on the original end can.

The R1200 boxer engine GSA sounds like a Sewing Machine to me when i first rode it...but it been a Excellent ride like what the rest of the guys said.

 

Hey bro, now I know what you mean it sounds like a sewing machine. I've been to textile plants and you can't be more spot-on in describing it!!!
