Brake pad, can go motoworld to change SBS.. not costly and braking power is there.

That is why I got my R1200R recently. It's just because of that tele-lever.

 

It's not a gimmick, when I had my R1100R, it probably saved me many times, more so than the ABS. Tele-lever and ABS makes emergency responses much less life threatening.

 

If tele-lever is so good, why not put on the rest of the models, esp the higher end ones?

Weight issues. The telelever is heavier than conventional forks by the telelever and the strut. Adds about 6 to 7 kgs.

Anyway i just read that it is connected to the canbus thus has a limited power output. Not that it matters as i already mounted a cigarette socket directly to the battery.

Anyone knows how long is the 40k servicing at PML? ie if i drop the bike at ~10AM, will it be ready by say 4PM?

 

most prolly have to leave the bike for the whole day, then tomoro can pick up. unless kris aka @papabread79 bff, dun have so many bike on servicing, then can pick up by evening. u can give kris a call to ask about it though. but 40k servicing, seems a hassle to do..

Wacko's GSA now is at 36K km.. Why not you send in your bike together with Wacko then you both, and Kris can go lim kopi together at Al-Ameen nearby?
