Ur safer bet is a 90's R1100R. It's the last of the more classic look. The R1150/1200R imo are 'modern' looking?

 

I have a R1100r to sell. The maroon colour one.

Brake pad, can go motoworld to change SBS.. not costly and braking power is there.

a good bike cover will do a lot of good.keeps the sore eyes away & most important ,be aware of ***** cats.you wont like to see the seat with nasty claw marks.cheers.

There is a high pitch squeaking sound coming from the engine area of my R1100R.... what could be a likely cause?

Constantly? Frequency? Only when rains? Only when cornering? Only when starting up? Interval?

Constantly when the engine is running... Gets louder when the throttle is opened and softer when the bike is idling at traffic lights...

Maybe valve clearance or carburetor blocked... Time for carburetor servicing... If problem still persists, valve clearance... By the way I don't own bmw bike yet... But I've pre-owned a few carburetor bikes with valves... If your bike fuel injector type, I not sure >_
