What is the lowest seating Class 2 bike? I m 1.62m SHORT :(

1.6 consider short, then what am i? 1.5x only, i'm dwarf? imo, most bikes can cater for a 1.5, just need to cut the seat lower or lower the suspension. the only 'no way' is a scrambler. i'm riding a pulsar.

imo, harley n phantom's seat seem quite low, but being said, hard corner u might have a problem.

Accident can happen anytime, anywhere.

However ask yourself, do you want to fall at 120km/h or 60km/h?

The more you are pushing the bike whether on or off the seat, you naturally will become very hands on with all the handling on slope or flat road. One thing however is to plan your parking before you alight and practise more on tight u-turning space by countering the weight in opp direction

I think it all boils down to your determination and passion. I got inspired by Pedrosa cause he's the shortest (1.59m) and yet able to ride a gp bike. So I told myself if he's shorter than me and can ride gp bike, why can't i? :)

pedrosa races his rc212v.. he doesnt have to live nor commute with it.. he only has to balance the bike until the red light disappears.. normal people have to stop n go at traffic lights, park the bike in tight areas, etc so it helps to have a firm footing on the ground

That is very true. Racing and everyday riding are two different things. Being able to put your foot down firmly usually gives the rider confidence. For me i'm 1.69 and riding r6 but sometimes still find it a bit nerve wrecking during parking, scared will fall down. No choice but to get off the bike and push.

wow, so happy I found this thread. I'm not the only short guy here. Hahaha, I'm around 1.61m, really sucks cause hard to ride class 2. That's why I got a cbr400, feel safer riding it, I think afterall if you use it for transport, comfort is very important. Gonna stick to it till maybe I get a car in future. Haha.

I used to ride a WR200 scrambler. I tip toe alot as i am not that tall. Confidence comes with experience and you will love it once you overcome your fear =)

low and narrow, from what my cousin told me. I felt the seat's a bit cramped, but not that narrow.

I don't deny the low seat height. Easy to straddle

I'm also not tall enough for my Speed Triple.

It's more suited for guys 1.80m up.

I'm only 1.70m

In a tight situation, sometimes I do a burnout to turn the bike around, instead of pushing back and forth tip toeing.

I'm 1.62 short too! The bikes I rode are as listed.

You'll get used to the seat height. Most important is the weight and centre of gravity. My current F800ST is very easy to ride for me even though the seat is a 790mm seat.

I would avoid the Harleys for everyday use. The brakes are horrendous...

i 1.61m-1.62m and i only 40kg. i rode R6 and VTR1000 SP1. both bike i also tip toe. R6 i dun have any problem because its quite light i can handle when riding. SP1 is much more heavier but i also can manage afterall although the wet weight is 200kg+ 5times of my bodyweight. Nth is impossible unless both of ur leg also can't touch the ground. If that the case, give up riding those. lol I'm proud of myself being the smallest size riding a big cow.

1) MOST IMPORTANT, who are the 2 HOT BABES :thumb:*yes!* in your signature pic ? i also want ... :cheeky:

2)1.61m & 40kg ??? is that a typo error? maybe you meant 1.5m & 50kg / 1.6m & 60kg ? it is hard to imagine how thin you must be. sorry, no offence. i am of around the same height but i am 75kg & haven't been 40kg since maybe primary school? :cheeky:

3) i am impressed! you proved that height & weight is no barrier:thumb:, however i still feel it can sometimes feel "troublesome" sometimes. :sian:
