If u riding a 400cc above bike or a supermotard or scrammies...u can try R&G racing exos sliders...

it looks smart and doesnt stick out like a sore thumb

i using APA slider which cost $60, its tougher than normal exhaust slider, the R&G sliders seems more appealing :D

How is this slider held onto the exhaust? It seems to be riveted in place....

Got 4 pieces:

- a common pipe clamp

- a thick rectangular high-temp rubber piece with a flat slit hole for the pipe clamp to go through

- the outside glossy part is just a ABS plastic or something, not metal, covering the rubber piece, but it's very durable - tested b4 in a slide, no dents on pipe. Even a static drop will leave only scratches, no cracks

- a high-temp rubber for the pipe clamp, so as not to scratch the pipe

First of all, it covers 50% of the pipe, leaving the other half of the pipe clamp exposed. That's why you need the extra rubber for the pipe clamp.

Next, the rivet secures the external plastic to the rubber, not to the pipe clamp. Hence you can change the pipe clamp any time.

Also, take note that it come in fixed sizes only.

Thanks for the info, will check it out! Though the price is a bit on the high side - the rubber/silicone protectors cost $20 a piece...
