Oakley - Differentiating Genuine ones and Fake ones

Are you trying to say that there are alot of fake oakleys sold online or trying to ascertain whether the oakley sold online is genuine?

 

Online sales of oakley is popular because SG RRP of Oakley is a tad steep.

 

 

Yes bro. recently was browsing through the web. Came across a few sites that deal with Oakley's at very very cheap price. And they look exactly like the original. They even have the same name and models of those wel known originals like Straight-Jacket, Monster Dog, Fuel Cell etc.

What's strange about that? Lux bought over Oakley in 2007. Why compete when you can buy over? They're monopolizing the market.

But Lux seems to be mainly an eyewear player. Oakley has other stuff like clothings, which I'll bet were also outsourced before the takeover.

So why not continue to outsource instead of trying to manufacture something outside your area of expertise?

That is the point of outsourcing isn't it?

but if you mention Oakley, Ray Ban or wadever brand they carry, the same bloke will know what it is..

Actually very easy to spot one.

Once you own a Oakley specs, you can spot a fake easily because the quality is really different one.

Get yourself familiar with the kind of models Oakley offers. Fake one mostly sell that few models only because the rest is very difficult to replicate.
