Basically my dealing with Daystar are by internet and sms.Haven't even seen him in person and the bike.But I had been in the forum long enough to know about the condition of his bike.Tommorow we will settle the insurance things together and after transfering the ownership hopefully I will be riding a Vara home tommorrow.

1st stop is at Yong Peng, I was whinning to the African Twin Rider on how slow the Varas was, he also agreed that they're slow... =X Muahaha the Varas is nice to see but CMI... Suitable for SG road, but for touring the Endurance is needed because of the time taken... The Day tripper split from us at Yong Peng.

 

2nd Stop is at Malacca, after pumping petrol at Yong Peng, don't know what Kester says to the Varas, but now they can remain on the speed of 120km/h. =D Better but still slow =P Hehe, the Dragstar rider abit CMI, keep wanting to come to the 2nd/3rd bike, but when he going slow, seeing that I wanted to overtake, he pick up again =P Played around with him and scolding him at the same time LoLx Reach Melaka and had some dessert there, weather too hot and making us me moodless to take pics, well next time I go Melaka I'll take pics =D LoLx

 

Going to Port Dickson on trunk road, once again, the Varas this time round also CMI, they're road hogging. Moving slow and blocking the way, wanted to overtake, but they're at the right of lane and blocking the small way... I really hate the Varas... They're not overtaking and also keep blocking. I'm cursing and swearing at them all the way man~ "

Anyway, obviously he's the kind of rider that wont be suitable for a big group long-distance ride. Seems like he place his ego and priorities on speed and being the 1st in line. That kind of impatience simply diminishes what Kester emphasised all the time - Safety & Enjoying the Ride

 

Yeah, his bike cc of course is bigger and can go faster than ours. But Nivlek my "friend', your bike cc and speed simply preceed ur brain's capability on judgement & ability to think about others. Tink ur head and brain (if there is any)need a complete overhaul. A roll of "SELFISH NUT" banner for u ya

a. Our Vara machine is only 125cc and definitely could not match the bigger cc bikes

b. We have first time riders on this trip who are not familiar with Malaysia roads.

c. Some of us are new riders..myself, I biked only for

d. There are girl pillion riders and one youngster in our group. As parents, responsibility and safety bro..

e. This trip was touted to be nice and easy with special consideration for slower cc bikes 2B invited. Riding fast was not one of the agenda

 

I suggest that next time you made such comments check with the facts first.

Greeting all Varadero Riders, thanks for your tolerance on this issue. He may be frank & maybe too frank & I hope to seek for your understanding.

If you have been through his blog or get to know him longer, I believe you may understand his frankness & nature.

 

Everybody have his/her first time riding in a convoy, I have ride in a convoy worst then tis, trust me you wont want it again.

For this PD ride, I myself may have also offended some other riders for the way I ride, reason maybe due to riding attitude, cross wind, tailgate, road stone, pot hole & etc, too many excuse or reason but an experience rider may tell, nobody know. Different people also have different characteristic & way of expressing themself.

 

I was tagging along wif a few Varaderos. I understand a little on the bike’s limit. ABATTORY have said Varadero may not have the speed but I believe it may have the endurance & may way surpass Phantom for longer distance. “individual bikes capabilities” which he may not have understand its capabilities. No bikes are prefect for every terrain & I believe if you got the speed, you will not hesitate.

 

I sincerely apologized for tis little commotion caused which have brought great discomfort to the Varadero Family . Cheers

yupe, i fixed the hazard lights light, $25

but got some problem.... the hazard lights doesnt really works well, also got no time to go down to ah wah n let him check...

the prob is when my bike is @ stop and on the hazard light wif engine running, its doesnt really blink.... need to ram up the bike den can blink.... once stop ramming den it stop blinking.... think mayb not enuff battery or wat....

if u all going to ah wah, can help me ask him abt my prob..
