Hi yenyu, I didn't cover back as i was thinking if i cover it then air intake will be restricted. So far no water got in even in rainning days and also i prefer the sound without the cover... heee.

how much do they charge for the KNN plus installation?

 

if im not wrong..its 68 dolars includes installation.

a qns for bros to boggle over..... can bike start up when in gear without clutching??? example u want to start ur bike but u forget its in gear hence forgot to clutch in.... will it start up?? i notice at the clutch lever assembly theres a micro switch n read in the manual its suppose to work but to my surprise it doesnt....

 

so is there any bors or sis out there who face this problem.....

theoretically, ur bike wouldnt start if u r in gear and u tried to start e engine coz it will jerk forward and if u did throttle abit it will move off rite(logic tinkin)..hence dat wud be a safety issue. so y on earth would u wan to start ur bike when its in gear..even those clutchless bikes(wave/spark) if u start e engine it will jerk forward..so dun be so inquisitive over such stuff..keep it simple.

 

Ride more..boggle less :D

hi bros, i'm new in SBF and is very attracted to Yamaha FZ16. I'm currently in the process of getting my class 2B license and have been doing research about this bike.

seems like there is quite a few "siblings" to this bike.

anyone can tell me and fellow bros and the the differences of FZ-150i, FZ16 and even FZ-S?

(is FZ-S even available in SG? Because i saw online that only india carries FZ-S, a different version of FZ16)

ps: correct me if i'm wrong. i got those info from online sites.

Fz-s won't be out soon for our country I guess... FZ16 should be the same ad fz150 but different from Fz150i. Fz150i is the fuel injection type while ours is carb type.outlook is also quite different as compare. It's just naming it differently. But I should be the same I guess bro.

my friend already run in finish during the 1st week of the bike took out... LOL

1 week i run 2.2k liao -_-

but till now still 2k plus mileage coz very very seldom ride, in fact is nvr ride @ all

No mah... must chiong phase 2 hard run-in period... lol!! :D

eh btw i asked about the meter liao, our fz16 de cannot change colour..

guess some1 contact that guy to check out the meter le..

he say the thing is diff cant change

bro there is a switch below your clutch lever that suppose to connect to a port near to your headlight area that one is not connected in your case thats y it dint work if you want it to work simply just connect it or go to a mech ask him to hook it up for you

got new project fitting kawasaki 650z rims n brake calipers will show when done...

 

modding iu unit... horn n bodykit....
