hmm personal choice and preference ba ... similar like .. some ppl spent on bird cage for thousands of dollars .. we can say crazy not worth but to bird fans .. it's worth the price ba ...

 

we have to respect others preference cos ppl also will say why we put big boxes on small bike !! ... hmmmm

 

so things always that we just have to be open minded with other ppl way of thoughts .... hehehhee

haha yes .. reason i stated the price actually one can get if direct from indonesia are much much much cheaper than the 700 qouted here ... hehehe

 

if anyone really interested to know the price .. just contact the person and know the difference and if the person who had paid 700+ for the full set will surely have a jaw drop but yet again as stated .. it's personal preference personal choice personal money .. as long as he/she is happy .. who cares wat other people thoughts? ... kekekee

 

similar with s4 side fairings .. heard cost 100+ for a plastic while the bellypan a fiber glass (yeah form of a plastic) cost $80 only!! .. hmm but still it's a personal choice!! ... hehehehe

Went to WingYap at Balestier after my bowling session just now. Nice showroom and friendly mechanics. Disk brake for FZ16 also arrive already. Very chio lei. The taillight also bueh tahan..!! Got 2 types of belly pan but don't know which look nicer.

 

Anyway fiber glass is just more rigid than plastic. Eventhough plastic is more flexible (kena curb won't easily break) but still it look like toy. Well a man's honey is another man's poison. My hand very itchy but don't want to change anything till wear off or at least 6 months riding. Enjoy ori look while it still last. And btw i really need a tank bra..!! My tank got scratches already. Anybody know what wipe can remove the scratches?

 

@YenYu I believe u got ur tank bra at auntie shop. How much eh? Do they do custom design other than the tribal?

Yep, mine from auntie shop. And yes, they do custom design, but u got to wait for afew days. Mine i got at 145 without the Fuel cap cover. Addition fuel cap cover is 20/25bucks.

there's 3 setting : On, Off, and Res. While the last setting is obvious, the manual said that when we park the bike, we have to turn it Off, and turn it On again when we want to ride the bike. Really? Does anyone really practice that every time you turn on/off the bike? sounds like a hassle...

Anw about revServe, that only apply when you gonna out patrol. Switch to reserve, so u still got patrol to find nearest patrol station..

After patrol top up, switch back to on that is " arrow facing down ".

For me after riding i "Off" it..

Hi, apparently there's no need for u to turn off everytime u off ur bike. I did it for the start, but it's pointless.. If u are going away for trips, then it comes into play. Just leave the knob at on all the time will do..

Hi, apparently there's no need for u to turn off everytime u off ur bike. I did it for the start, but it's pointless..

 

you might not know when it's your unlucky day for your bike to have a fall when left unattended ....

 

happened to my ride before .. I usually parked on main stand but one evening after my class, i saw my bike was parked side stand from far and a kup parked too close to my bike.. coming closer saw 2 bikes drop flat on the grounds with heavy smell of fuels ... checking my ride to see my side box and side rear box got few scratches ... I believed an idiot driving lorry or what doing reversed and knocked down the kup and create a domino fall ..... moral of story is make a habit to TURN OFF the fuel valve when you park your bike!!... you don't want to be like the other 2 bikes that fall having the fuel over flow and get wasted!!

3. Carburetor (stock is 26mm) - change to any size of 28mm (may consider Keihin PWK 28 for greater response).

 

4. Big bore kit - increase the capacity to 200cc

 

5. Exhaust pipe (not street legal) - few brands available.

I think the latest ones have few changes (comparing with yenyu's bike pic) -- the metal parts below the seats are now black, and there's a kick-starter too. Not sure that could justify the +400 dlr difference though...
