Yes, most ppl will just fill up 1litre. unless you rich and buy 2 bottles and fill up 1.2litre. I believe 1.2 litres only applies when u change oil filter. Not very sure, this is wat i know. lol. Might be wrong too..

 

i scared 1 litre not enough for the engine... cuz overtime 4 stroke engine will eat up the engine oil leh... but i just change it last fri... new oil filter and 1.2 litres of EO...

not all 4 stroke will eat EO.. improperly maintained engine will eat EO for sure, but most of the thumper engines are OK.

 

unless you talking about about P-2 engines..

wah lao, i called in most 'major' bike shops, all they could say was 'sorry, we have no more fz16'.. sad. asphoon say must wait, but dunno wait until how many months. i called in Hong Leong, they said they will inform me if they have receive the new stock of FZ16. sian aahhhh!! cannot wait already. for now, i could only admire the bike from afar. or desperate enough, i'll buy fz150i.

You tried De Xing in Ubi? May have chance there....

Yew Tee industrial there got a black FZ-16 brand new. Can register right away if you are in a rush.

Name of shop is Chek Kong Motor. machine price I heard is $5200 excluding COE. think can nego abit with the shop owner.

Total cost of my bike is around 8k plus with COE and insurance..ask for Mr. Meng,very friendly uncle gives me a lot of discount...call them ASAP bro to check the stock GOOD LUCK:)

things like:

-bike running in must ride within wat speed and for how long?

-how's de maintenance and how often?

-any mods(legal) can be done and where?

i know some question might have been answered in previous pages but there's 79 pages for me to go through..tired lioz..

Modding is never legal. You can do cosmetics/handling mods 1st. Cosmetics:219design, Auntie shop, Juzzwheel. Handling/other mods: MotoWorld,Unique,Planet,BikeWerks, and many other more that you might been...

Warranty check with your bike shop. Different bike shop have different warranty. Towards main warranty for Hong Leong applies engine+handling parts, less wear&tear / Cosmetic parts.

hi Abang! how did u manage to resolve dis issue? can u describe ur svc package? oil, filter, sparkies n etc...

 

anyone experience this before. it's been a while since I rode full throttle and I noticed a 'drop' in top speed last night. previously still managed to get about 115 after a while. but last night, full throttle cannot even go 110. top speed was only 108 even after a good stretch. bike just when 2nd svc 1 month ago and running on octane 98.

dear fellow riders...nowadays e tap in e sky opens readily im sure. wif e roads lookin like e high seas pls do take care. drainage system sucks... avoid goin too slow on e left, those stagnant water pools irks u, sudden water splash will frighten u,hydroplannin will make u fly, white painted markins will eat u, wearin slippers is a nono, if possible do not ride n heavy rain. God bless us riders!

Wah bro, u trust the bike shop n paid in full?? Normally pay a small deposit + i/c bah?? But mostly waited like 2months or more leh b4 getting their bike..

Yap.. I deposit $800 and told him i'll pay remaining full wen my hands are on de bike.. Its ok bro.. Lesson learn for all.. :-))

Yeah, abit surprised that full payment done without the bike.. Anyway check if agreement state anything abt disclaimer like in event of inability of delivering the bike, refund portion is critical...

The bike shop told me u pay full your bike gets first... But it seems info get dealyed... I call them ask them when but they say this week... I say which day they say dono... Nvm i just wait lor...
