Collected my Red FZ16 today. A very happy owner

 

First thing i did was to went over to auntie shop to get some poison! haha

The speed sensor is at the front wheel hub. Very simple cable configuration, the speedo takes its signal front the front wheel. So ya, it's accurate. Then again, all car n bike manufacturers are liers about the true speed of the machine. U downgraded from a cbr6? I downgraded to fz from blackbird cbrxx too. Seems quite a few bros downgraded to the fz16. It's sooo easy on the fz16. So easy to squeeze around in traffic. N best of all, can actually look around at the scenery whilst riding it. But.. Its Just, quite slow ......

 

oic....niway, not really downgraded. i can say i actually upgraded. i used to ride a cbr6 07, at the same time i have a waveR as well. after marriage, find no use of my cbr6. not going track anymore, touring also nvr go coz wife dun want to follow....haha! under utilized and so i sold it off. and continue to ride my humble waveR, until my wave showed a series of problems, so i let go my wave and bought an FZ16. So yeah....i did not downgrade, i upgrade...hehe!

Is ard the same price as other shop $7.8k+/- otr depend on ur insurances.

From wat i know price is quite fix by HL.

First fuel tank update:

Pump 8litres, and ride for 387.2km = 48.4km/l

 

Second tank pump 9litres, still monitoring.

May i know what are the few range of recommended tires available for our FZ16 ?

mechilin, dunlop, bridgestone bt39 and bt090, matzler, but size hard to find original size from i know only dunlop gp got rear original size for our bike so far 140/60/17 rest all size diff unless you find those taiwan or china tyre might have also cheaper but quality wise dont think can match those better tyre as mentioned ba.

Average travelling speed: 90-110km/h
