Any1 here going to change the 'side mirror' (is this a correct term?). I saw few bike changed it, and I saw it at ahboy shop, selling @ $35.

 

After I met a FZ16 rider, he told me he get it from there also, he manage to get only $20?!?! (Ahboy wanna chop me le)

There is such a thing as was on my phantom. It was for the older IU though.

 

Where u got your sticker done and how much? Can cover the cash card area?

 

i didnt do any sticker on my IU yet. Haven yet to plan to do. Maybe will take up pouch type, but slim IU have pouch also?

I recommend not to get koso mirror as it will vibrate more compare to the original one. any idea on how to reduce the vibrator for koso mirror?

Just to ask whether yr bike light can be turn on/off or not? I saw 1 of the FZ16 (who get the bike from yew tee, If I'm not wrong) got a on/off swicth for the light at the RH handle.

Wah! still got hazard light? In sg, most of the new bikes have disable the on/off switch. When ur bike is turn to on, the light will automatic switch on. There is a law implemented on this.

have to get the metal type of koso which cost $70+ i tink..or rizoma mirrors $200-300..lost cry. u can also try puttin heavier bar ends or thicker handlebar or put handlebar brace which cost $10-$20

u can get a mech to fix e switch for ur lights

@Fredd bro, by putthing heavier bar end could solve the vibration problem to the koso mirror? i think i got the lousy koso mirror, plastic one What's a handlebar brace? o.O

 

Anyway, any of the FZ16 bros encounter this? When in stop position, u hold front break, and ur handle bar got a stronger vibration and there will be a buzz or dont know some sound coming out? I hope this is normal >_

solve? no..reduce? yes..dats y e plastic ones r cheaper but der r fazerians usin e cheapo koso n dey have no problems wif it. suspension n bigger tyres do play a part as well. handlebar brace is a long piece of metal fixed on ur handlebar to somehow balance it better. i guess u must have seen those scramblers or even s4 fixing renthal handlebar wif e sponge on it. dat piece of metal can be bought at ahboy but now i tink he got no stock. here's how it looks like..e black metal which has e gps mounted on it. http://www.triumph-online.co.uk/ekmps/shops/squaredealsmot/images/gps-gps.00.308.110.gif

what u need is thicker handlebar..i duno renthal got thick enough or not. if u fix those long renthal handlebar will make it look like a streetfighter alrdy..hehehe

Morning Fz bros, Yep, i'm okay, just got a small cut ard 10cm long at my calf plus some bruise when falling down. Will be more careful next time. 1st time front weely sia... lol!

 

Anyway, the tank bra is great man! My design, is not same with bro azzy, his one is gold "FZ" wording, mine is white "FAZER" wording. The tribal is the same i think.

Haha thanks Fredd bro Maybe i'll go and install renthal handlebar those normal one with the brace on it one, then add the motivation bar end. I scare too long will abit out of shape lol... Then see if the mirror still vibrate as much, else i'll sell it off then change to a koso/rectangular with metal arm de.

Actually u can come up with ur own design and send to them to custom made for u. As long as not too difficult de design, they are able to change here and there de lor... quite nice... will post it in the next few days with a detail pic. Haha...

I've been following this thread for quite awhile and I am really interested in buying fz16. i really want to know, what is the disadvantage of the fz16? i heard its only 2 valve cooling system and it uses drum breaks? but breaks can change so not an issue. what i want to know is the FC, top speed, does the bike vibrate at top speed? please share, will appreciate so much. just want to ensure that if i buy the fz, it wont be a disappointment to me

I think mine is accurate ba. Cos i quite fat mah, it's a struggle for FZ to run But the blinking should start when? when one bar left should blink liao or no bar then blink de?

I think later i going HL to check my bike de front wheel or fork. Got squeeking sound coming out. is it cos of rain? or rust? Anyone encounter it before? Cos i got fall down one time due to a small accident by myself. About the front front brakes also, got strong vibration and buzzing sound when i hold the brake.
