Star Performance one at 70. Any review on star performance brake hose? I heard it's the same as HEL.

 

I've change mine recently to Star performance for 60 bucks.. apparently the head mechanic at the workshop said there is no difference between both brand in terms of performance.. He said both are under the same company.. I dont know how true.. Star performance is singapore made as stated in the box itself..

So far im happy with its performance.. no difference from Hel brake hose..

 

By the way, any bros change their air filter to the K&N? i went down to wing yap AMK and was quote the price is 68 bucks..

Any bros change their can kindly give feedback if got any improvement in performance?

With the K&N, bike seems more willing to rev up especially after 4k RPM. Sound is also throatier. At lower RPM, not much diff. Did Wing Yap say what is the K&N part number?

Oh... where do u change ur star performance brake line? Btw, there are afew bros that have changed their air filter to K&N one already... But no much ppl have given feedback on that due to not far distance ran enough. Hmm, i might wan to change my brake hose too... but still thinking of getting the ASV lever set from unique or not... haha.. Prolly this end month may or may not get from them. But by next mth sure change tire. This MRF tire is abit ridiculous. When travelling at 102km/hr today, dont feel like the tyre is sticking onto the ground. Difference will sure be there if i change over to battlax in the future tyre change.

I think with the K&N air filter, it should be always be a combo to come with an aftermarket exhaust, then will feel the effect. Basically i believe there isnt much effect installing K&N without an aftermarket exhaust.

I've check with Wing Yap thru facebook regarding thei K&N filter. They too arr using the open pod series. Exact part no. I'm not sure.

 

As for performance, theres not much difference. Engine is willing to rev higher. Easier to reach the red line. Need to reset the carb setting, but i have not done it yet. Able to feel the torque even at 8k rpm.

Bro, There's no size for our stock tire for the rear wheel. Our stock size is 140/60, which is super rare or not available in the market. If u go back to MRF stock tyre lol...

But most of the well known brand are having 150/60 size. I've see one of our bro with 150/60 sized tyre in his fz16. He using Metzeler. I've check with unique, for bridgestone battlax BT090 set front and rear is either ard 240 or 285 if i remember correctly.

Knn air filter from W Y can fit meh? That time I called them regarding this promotion and was told by the tech that It cannot fit into fz16, If not I early early change liao lor. But what are the pros and cons if I change to knn air filter? Anyone can advise!!
