it will depend on how big is the bore. and from bore-ing you will need bigger carb, cause the stock ones doesn't give enough intake of petrol needed. Size of carb will depend la, bigger carb doesnt mean better, and same goes to bigger jettings. The list goes on and on....

But im sure that big-bore kits sure consume more petrol, and i do disagree with the mechanic to a certain extent. Dont tell me by installing a 60mm or more kit your petrol consumption will be the same? just my 0.00000000002cents....

Stock carb and a big bored cylinder block seriously doesn't compliment each other if one is looking for performance, why esle a person would want to use a big bored set up?

It's "porting", not "plotting".

If you trust the mechanics words without having any technical knowledge or not have done any research on bikes, you are already their target.

Whatever the case is, big bore kits will definitely increase ur fuel comsumption but nt to the extend of ur tank can onli last 100km. That might b the case with heavy mods, bigger valve, hi-cam, bigger carb e.g 28mm onwards. Fuel consumption realli depends on the rider, how strong he twist that throttle. More throttling, more fuel lor. N for the case of big bore-ing wit stock carb, nt worth it, wont go unless u port your carb. Bigger block nd more fuel = nd bigger carb or modified carb.

Aniwez jus my 2cents, do ur research first, can go t135 forum oso. Not everything mech say is true. They still human. Happy modding n dont get caught ",
