Can everyone just simply switch back to just describing the experiences instead of arguing about whats right or wrong?

Cos there is always people only wanting to argue that they and their thinking is always right. And its tiresome.

And LAB services are slow, their things are cheap and yet there is always a big crowd of people there? There should be some indication that some things are not argue-able?

Fact is, people who goes there have a choice. And they exercised their choice.

You also have a choice. You can grumble, but please do not grumble till you make a fool of yourself.

BTW, jacky is now sliming down nicely.

Agreed...

and Jacky is the one last time a bit fat-fat and wear specs?

IF so, yeah, he did. Saw him last nite when looking for a new sprocket set. Didn;t recognize him for a moment until the eyes and glasses gave him away...

now now boys, play nice or mommy will spank you and send you back to your room :D

we all have mixed experiences from lab, some good some bad but don't ostracise them over a few incidents. i say 'few' because the complaints i read about lab are meagre compared to other shops. i don't know how true these posts are but i reply in caution (won't want to offend anyone now do we?) and personally speaking, they accommodated me on a mistake they made thus i harbour no ill will towards them :cheeky: if you are replying in disagreement, don't call the previous poster a . just make your stand based on truth and leave it at that. :thumb:

pls lah u buy mhr from LAB what u expect? arai quality for 30 odd dollars ah (which is what i paid for my mhr helmet)

I think you'll find that, if you read carefully, the original poster wasn't exactly expecting Arai quality. He was expecting to get a 'M' size because he asked for a 'M' size, because that's what the folk at LAB told him (that that particular helmet was 'M' size) and because he was paying for 'M' size.

Which makes your argument invalid.

After reading on all the posts, those that curse LAB simply don't GET IT!

They just keep saying he cheats ppl who buy things from him.

Somehow these ppl who goes to LAB to buy something for example like a helmet and expect the quality of a ARAI but want ot pay for a ARAL only,,,,hahahahha

How could LAB cheat you if YOU THE CUSTOMER IS THE ONE who was cheap and yet want something of quality from LAB at the prices that he is selling!

You can go to the end of the world and yet not find such 'cheap things' that would satify BOTH your wallet and your taste!

WAKE UP! :D

Yo,

I think your point so far is that if we want to go to LAB with the intention of clinching cheap deals, its our own fault you get lousy goods.

While that is true (that the amount of money you pay affects the quality of product you get), I don't think the intention of this thread was to blast the 'quality' of LAB products. In fact, it was all about the wrong size, which, imho, has nothing to do whatsoever with 'quality'.

True. He pays cheap money for a cheap helmet. But its not as if he's asking for an Arai or a Shoei for that paltry sum. He's just asking for the appropriate size that's all. Are you trying to say that, in order to get a size that fits me, I must be prepared to pay more? And that if I don't pay more, serves me right that what I get can't fit me? Haven't been aware that helmet sizes are dependent on the prices.

Bottom line is, he paid a low price for a low quality, 'M' sized helmet. He should get a low quality, 'M' sized helmet. And not anything else.

If you got $$$$$ you won't be riding bike lah!...hahahahhaahahhahahahahahaahah :D

LAB is not cheap only some of his customers look cheap and want cheap and after buying things from him say he cheat!....my wordings seems to rhyme lei!!!..kekekekeke

That's something many here will disagree with.

There are people here with real PASSION for bikes.

I'll take me as an example. In an attempt to dissuade me from riding,

my mother got her bf to promise me that I could have have his spare

BMW 5 series as a ride once I passed my class 3 license.

I took 3 lessons, quit, and am, up till now, happily riding my KRR with

the intention of upgrading to a R6 once I get my class 2 next year.

I've been involved in my fair share of accidents, cursed when it was raining,

especially when I'm caught in it, but I still intend to continue riding.

Just because you don't have a passion for biking and would rather drive

if you could afford it doesn't mean you assume everyone else feels the same

way.

been reading the posts in tis thread and thought i just give my 2 cents worth. not supportive either sides or LAB.

1.

a. seller sells something to buyer. he allows buyer to check n try product.

b. buyer inspects n tries product. if he's happy w product, pay n collect product.

frm wat i read, it seems that this procedure has been done, so i dun see wat the problem is. u can always bring back yr faulty product back to LAB n try to ask for exchange rite? did u try doing tat?

2.

in all honesty, WHY do pple go LAB?

cos their stuff r supposely cheaper than others, rite? do u expect products tat r so much cheaper compared to retail prices to be geniune?

i had my bad experiences with LAB be4 in the past. these days, i only go down to buy stuff frm them after checking out prices frm other places.

i'm not trying to be funny or anything, just my thoughts. sorry if i offend any1.

Bought a MHR Helmet from them. Went home then found out the TOP VENT missing... Went back the next day... Got it change but the sizing like BIGGER leh... I got myself a L which the fit is ok... But after i have change a new one, The auntie CLAIMS its the same size as the old one... NVM... Went home then notice they CUT AWAY THE SIZE TAG... :sian: That makes me feel like a DUMB A$$... No wonder it sizing is BIGGER... Now i'm wondering whether mine is a XL anot... zzZZzzzZZzz... So people... Please check Properly before you buy... They do such things just to safe them Trouble... They rather Cut away the Size tag and say its the size i'm looking for than tell me they dun have the size and ask me choose another model... zzZZZzZZZzz... SUCKED.... :sian:

Hmm caveat emptor eh?

Before buy things from LAB must check check until rip off the sticker and look under it??? Will they let you?

BTW additional info:

Helmet size should not be at the cheeks only. Should be around the head so meaning M size and S size is the headliner and foam different also.

E.g (not a particular brand):

M = 57 - 58 cm head circumference whereas

S = 55 - 56 cm

"It's not just in the cheeks."

Yah sure, if you want it to be SO ORIGINAL better make it yourself...that is buy the raw material, get the machining done and viola!...the finished product!....Geezz.....

I hope LAB is getting his lawyer to nail those buggers who says that he CHEATS.

I sure would not like to see the faces of those who posted this way when they receive his lawyer letter..hahahahha :D

If he really get lawyers to get those that say he cheat, i dun mind getting all the helmet companies, oil companies and maybe OEM parts suppliers to go jalan jalan his shop. :cheeky:

I know that.

Then what's Latin for "buyers beware of what lurks under the surface"? (E.g different size sticker)

i bought 2 helmets from them too in different occasions..1st time i bought is a MGP helmet...the price was okie...it was a cool helmet till one day at home, i accidently found out that theres a button to turn on a set of brakes behind....it was cool!

Then the 2nd time i went down, i want to buy a better helmet, its for my gf! Meanwhile oso ask the guy who sell me the helmet how to change the battery of the brake lights behind, and he told me that it cant be change, once it endned, thats it....at first i thought my helmet gt ventilation...i feel i gt cheated as the look on the guy face (not ah boy but somebody working there) makes me feel that he actually dosnt know that theres light behind.

aniwae, that 2nd time, i deceide to get an evo2 helmet,he quote me quite cheap for a good helmet like that! I have to blame myself too, as that day didnt check the helemt probably! the size is right but it has gt a line crack on top of the helmet, small but distinctive. It was too late when i found out, i knw they will not believe me if i tell them that it was already faulty when u sell it to me....

so ppl, do check the things u buy from them...
