turn6.... hahaha.. travelling at what speed dont say la... i tried a different leaning method.... trying to lean more forward den what i used to.... like u noe motogp they lean forward.. ya... tats where i learn how to corner from anyway...

i feel i applied too much pressure on the front..... hence the handlebar went zig zag zig zag.... no way out man.... sure crash... coz i was alreadi on mine knees...

actually.. few days back i learn some stuff abt FORKS and suspensions... i should haf realised that maybe i need harder forks....

btw whats the FLIPPINg to change direction???

Oh, T6???

Flipping is a good method to make fast change especially for that BMW section. What those "fast boys" told me is that you dun full lean for the right turn part , that's T9. When it's time to take T10, that's when the flipping comes in, using countersteering. You push the left handle bar away from you, rather than pull it to quickly get on your left lean.

Not easy.....

But easy to say lah :cheeky: Ha ha.....

You can scrape your sliders on T10??? I for sure cannot....because the downslope gradient very scary, but at Laguna Seca, that cockscrew portion, didn't Nicky just blast thru that part??? Even Colins is so fast there he overtook Rossi with a snap of the fingers. :thumb:

hmmmz.. seriously i hate the bmw turn in a way.... i feel i am veri slow there... wah who are the fast boys that notice me??

haha... everytime i go down PG.. i awlays wonder how to take T9,T10 the fastest... and i'm still figuring out.... i think i arga arga undersetand what u mean by flipping... but the thing is during cornering... i kinda most of the time push the handle bar away from me... reason is i wanna keep the bike as upright as possible loh.... corner more wif mine weight...

scrapping quite okie la.. T10 is the left sharp bend rite.. tat 1 can... those cannot is T7 and T11.. .those 2 impossible...hahaha.. e rest sometime when realli pushing will scrap loh...

hmmmz, nicky hayden... tat 1 is homeground leh.. i think he noes that circuit at the back of his head rite... haha but i realli wonder is... did rossi pan chan so that colin could win or not.... hahaha... i think i must downlad the vid and watch again.. hahaha!!! cant remember someone posted a joke abt colin n rossi.. damn funny....

This is from a British fren who was at PG for the first time on his new CBR1000RR and was blasting away pretty fast. First time only and he told me how to take the BMW, and it's a sunday PG track day. :thumb:

Too bad he did not join the fun race....probably he scare dunno how our local ride during a race, ha ha...worry ppl start taking out chain and start punching each other while lapping each other

Well, actually, I observed from my last track session was that BMW, many riders slow down, to the extend it's almost the same speed as me for T9, just that they open earlier for T10, which I believe I could, but you know, I rather not just yet as I'm not on race tyres like most of them and I do not want to push too hard. And of course, we both know Fabian is not "most riders" lah....

I'm slower because they really pull the revs and brake for corners. That day, mostly I was doing "no brakes drill" to get a feel of the ContiForce Max tyres under engine braking and, you know, relearn the track since I was away from her for like 3 months. And knowing that when I give chase, I go all out and easily risk myself with a crash. Last time I crashed at T5 while closing up on Johnny....very very exciting, heart pumping adrenline....closing inching on him while he's like 10M ahead of me.....back of my head thinking which turn would I be so close I could overtake him and please my God, dun let him pit in just yet!!!! Ended up went in T5 too hot, too right to the track, never set up the bike properly for the apex and went off track during the exit and crashed.... :sian: It's crazy, but I was not very upset about the crash, because the adrenline rush I had was something not everyone can feel. It's not like road rash madness.....On the contrary, imagine all these things going thru the brain while trying to ride a tad faster and harder on such a technical track......the constant feeling to go in turns faster, leave the brakes later, open the throttle earlier..... :lovestruck: That time I could really feel myself hanging the bike alot.....shiok ah!!!! Imagine racers go thru these all the time, really respect them :thumb:

But now got kids, different already.....

I'll wait for Seven's used RaceTech lor...then can push a bit. We had a buddy buddy mutual agreement that I'll take his 3 times used race rubbers. Save $$$ for me and easy for him to let go the tyres too :cheeky:

Well, not every corner need to scrape footpeg or slider then considered fast. Fabian could managed under 2 mins without scrapping sliders.....wanting to scrape sliders in fact, I agree, is more on ego rather than performance :D

No lah, Rossi shouldn't have give chance to Colins....so many times when Colins is infront of him on other races, Rossi just attack no matter what. Languna Seca also is Colin's homeground mah. I heard about that joke before, quite humourous.

Hey, anyways, I have a Max Biaggi MotoGp T shirt, black, size L. He's riding the Camel team, so it's a 04 design. His picture behind, infront HRC logo. Sell you $10.....brand new. Interested??? U want tell me I reserve for you until the day you come my house self collect.

Sorry, Nicky's one I'm already wearing, and I like Nicky Hayden as much as you, ha ha....The Max Biaggi I was thinking whether wanna wear or not, but willing to sell you if you want lah, cuz you are more "fan" than me when it comes to Max Biaggi.

:cheeky:

wahhhh... u also observe so much things 1 ah... i tot onli bryant and me do that... but i dont observe THAT much.. abit onli... eh btw i feel bryant is damn fast u noe... when he pace me ah, i feel bloody nervous, hence scrweing up in alot of corners... he's another guy who i noe i cant realli catch up even if he pang jang on the 2 straights...

yah... i think u should get a race tire, coz with that beauty that u are riding.. its seriously not fun to crash at all!!! hahaha... hmmz.. i see fabien in 1 or 2 corners before... ermmz.. cant learn anything from him coz he practically flies past too fast.... maybe till i get a 600 in future, hopefulyl cna see abit mroe of his corners...

hahaha... i totally understand how u feel regarding ur chase wif jonny man!!!! that kind of feeling hor... damn shiok!!! machium u feel u are a racer like tat.... u noe what i like to do... i like to wait for pple to come then i start pushing.. like playing catching like tat... haha... and if those big bikes cant realli catch me after 1-2laps.. i'll pit in...

either that or if big bike happen to zoom past me... den i will go catch them... its realli stupoid.. but hell fun!!! i think i am exactly kinda feeling what u felt man.. i dont regret i crash or not realli sad... just out of $$$ nia.. hahaha!!! btw u read ur post so excited until i see ur... "But now got kids, different already... "

haha... acannot push so hard alreadi hor.... yeah but good to get race tech.. everyone who tried it had excellent reviews abt the tires.. hmmm.. ya not every corner need actually... but for small bikes... haf to hang.. but i try not t oscrap somteime, coz knee sliders veri expesnvie... hahaha... u noe la.. small bikes lean angle sucks... so sure gotta hang... and once hang.. whether to knee slide or not is another thing.... actualyl scrapping i feel its neither performance or ego.. i feel its to noe arga arga where mine bike is.....

seriously hor.. i wonder how fabien will do on mine bike.. hahahaha... its pretty easy to go below 2 for a 600... but a small stock bike.. quite difficult.. plus i learn having good brakes, tires not good enuff... need good suspension! one day will rebuilt it la....

Life is not the amount of breath u take, but the moments that take ur breath away.

It is not how hard you fall, its how fast you get up.

This thread is soundind like "On The Track" with 2 of us shooting away..... :cheeky:

I slow, so I can see many things.....this is what we call sightseeing. Go PG sightseeing can be quite a joy, trust me

My previous RS2 also from Seven.....condition is considered very good for my style of riding, not so quick rider.

How Fabian will do on your bike huh??? Maybe he'll be yawning all the way lor, ha ha ha....unless you give him a MotoGP 125cc....now that's different. But on a stock 2b bike, he'll be fast enuff that we can never hear his yawn lor.

Well, if Charlie finds the L just nice, you gauge for yourself. Yup, will be baggy as I actually bought it for myself, but got quite a few so decided to let some off for some pocket money :D Will keep it for you first. Maybe if go track can pass you or maybe kopi or what though nowadays quite rare lah, kopi :sian:

Planning to head down PG when I get my passport back, before I leave for Thai in Feb. Will let you know. No pushing for me, just sightseeing.....as the Thai is official business, visa and allowance all processed.

Ya wat...scrape sliders = fast technically, because of the speed, the rider have to hang the bike to counter the centrifugal force that's trying to make the bike run wide.....

So scrape silders = fast riders......

That's why many ppl very happy to show scrape sliders while idiots like me put stickers on sliders to decorate my suit

I feel like changing the stock sliders to thick ones before I start ruining my suit leh. What say you??? The moment these cheapo sliders scrape, so does the leather on the knee protectors huh?? Now you tell me 'cause you already ruin your suit, ha ha..... :cheeky:

hahaha.. i ever go PG sightseeing also... but if i sight see hor.. i will realli block everyones way.... hahaha.. usually for e first 1-2lap... i will realli sight see... kinda my own no brake drill... bascially to look @ the corners and see whether got sand or whateva.. and to remember the lining....

ya definately he will be yawning la.. but i wnder what will his timing be around... high 1.5 or low 1.5 i wonder.... hmmmz.. going before u go thailand ah.... i thnk amybe i go join u for sightseeing... if i block pple way i just say sorry .. hahaha...

geee... scrap sliders means fast meh... to me realli not.... to me fast riders are those who read e corners damn well, those who take excellent reference point...

excellent example is bryant poh.. he dont scrap... but he is fast man... maybe one day when u sightsee u got see he ride.. he got lotsa guts as well!!! tats 1 thing.. his guts level is sky high!!!! hahaha...

seriosuly to me if someone can scrap sliders, i dont feel it a big deal... u noe what i mean rite? as in what is fast rider to me.... ya...

hmmmz.. i think chagne to those better sliders... i liek the dainese sliders, first time i bought i kanan CHOP.. but marcus noes them well... he can get a massorder for 35per pcs... 10 pcs... i tink u should change before u spoil ur leather and regret.. mine i no regrets.. coz i tore mine badly during the 5lap race.. had a blast!!!!

hahaha, maybe u all should get a 2b bike and play wif me la.. at least i no need to push myself so hard just to see u guys... veri tiring siah.... hahahaha... u all give 70%.. i haf to give 100% just to see u all abit..

:cheeky:
