Belang not popular in Singapore. Maybe can go to Batam if you are staying in Johor area. Batam has the model as Satria. Hope this helps.

Caltex techron very good for engine

Wonder if changing to a more silent muffler than original will fail inspection?

Went to JB Kang Soon looking for the sprocket set. Sad that they do have the ratio that I ask for. Maybe check again next time. Also went to Setia Tropika Suzuki assembler to get some parts. Change the diagpharm inb the carb. Too bad it remains the same for the idiling. According to the motor shop maybe my bike is high cam. so idiling irractic.

After return for 2 days, while riding, suddenly the bike die off and no longer to start. Like no petrol supply. but not able to determine the cause. Anyone able to guide?

 

Also notice another problem. The spark plug has engine oil surrounding the it. But the firing point is dry. Checkin from internet is the seal is worn. Now to to get the parts.

Found that all my hoses (fuel hoses) are harden and crack. not sure this will be the causes of not able to start. Now headache.

fuel cock. change the entire hose to high temp hose and then change the fuel cock. fuel cock can cause inconsistency.

Also check the PAIR 2nd valve reed.

New 2 nuts for headlight cover.

Hi im new here. Im looking for a raider but cant seem to find them in SG. Anyone knows where can i get them?

 

Btw I think i saw a newer version of Raider call Raider R150. I only know that the newer version has a electric start and bigger-looking engine air vent. Anything else i missed out?

Welcome to Suzuki Raider. Not sure of the new model. I am riding the 1st generation which has electric starter. My bike is 6 years old. Still doing it up.

Finally, my bike can start after sending to workshop. Damage $76 for all the following. Change the fuel cock. Lucky I bought 1 pc in Malaysia. Service the carb. Now the slow/idle is good. lack of skill to tune. One unfortunate thing is that the battery is flat and has to be changed. This is due to not able to start and keep for long time. About a month and the battery is flat. So be careful not to let your bike store too long without starting.

Riding my bike this week. Notice 2 separate times of engine popping/explosion sound during releasing of my throttle. Try to find the cause from youtube. Suggested it could be cause by leaking from carburetor to engine. So check the rubber hoses after the carburetor entering the engine. Found the clip is loose and not tighten. So tighten it today (Sunday). Will monitor the outcome.

 

Change some rubber hoses around the carburetor as most starting to crack.

also make sure all hoses from carburetor is tighthen and if crack change them to high quality

Hi Gun. Thanks. Will try to look for the 2nd valve reed. Do you have any shop in JB to recommend for cutting the seat. I want to have a lower seating.

this is car seat shop

however he do for bikes also

 

it is along the main road in tun aminah

I don't have address

 

I do all my bikes seat here

only less then RM40 includes changing seat cover

 

but for u to cut seat and use back the same cover then maybe RM 15 or RM20
