good lesson to learn

 

got from engineer of the bike

for all of us to learn

 

since raider r in spore are at high mileage

 

raider R uses a 3-phase generator. For units with high mileage, 1 or more of the 3 lighting coils may eventually give way and lead to dimming of headlight.

 

The other part to pay attention is the starter clutch bolts. There are 3 pcs. Over long time of usage, the bolts may become loosen and may cause damage to the coils of the generator. if there is abnormally loud noise when you switch OFF the engine, you need to get the bolts checked to see if they are securely tightened.

Now using 15T in front for a few months. Rear remain at 43T. When riding pillon seems a little weak. Will change the rear to 45T or 46T. Having 15T, the speedo seems on par with cars. So more accurate.

My bike is using the manual chain tensioner. Thinking of changing back to auto tensioner. But it is not cheap. Just worry whether will have problem if put in the auto tensioner.

changed "starter clutch one way". New design FL125FS-J made in December 2015 made in Thailand.

malaysian catalogue new part number is 1261425G00-000.

there is tiny hole below exhaust pipe hole

this tiny hole must be clean always

spray direct air into the hole and keep it clean or else when rain water enter plug hole it will not drain out

heavy rain bike getting stalled

found out the plug cap is wet and ignition stops

 

after 11 years first time changing whole set

changed FAITO 7400 ignition coil RM75

changed high tension cord - 2nd time changing

changed plug cap RM50

changed cap seal

after fixing faito 7400 i tested

 

result:

 

1. super smooth acceleration

2. need open little throttle the bike will move very fast

3. believe will consume low petrol as power is adequate with little throttle

4. one press electric start bike ignite fast.

check your disc caliper

 

if pin hangar and screw bleeder is rusty

pls change them

otherwise when u bleed brake fluis it is not smooth

clean screw bleeder witll drain out brake fluid easily

therefore u get to do changing brake fluid faster and efficient
