Insurance for old car (15+ years)

crankcase

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm looking at buying an old car as a short term ride, but I can't get any info on insurance quotes for this model. Especially since it's almost coming to the end of its 2nd COE.

Any suggestions on which insurers I should call who might give me a good quote? Or idea on what the premium might be like? I'm 31+ years old, nearly 13 years of driving experience, no demerit points etc.

First time I'm insuring a car - I've only owned 2 wheels until now.

Any info much appreciated. Thanks!

Thanks for the info. I got a quote from NTUC - $1185 for 5 months. 0% NCD cos I've never insured a car before (can't carry over bike NCD). So I'm dropping the plan altogether, the cost is working out too high. Thanks anyway :)

crankcase > why dun u opt for other private insurance there are aplenty

I checked with a few places, NTUC was the only one willing to insure such an old car. Anyway, I figured it's not worth the expense so I let it go.
