Help and review on electronic fuel injection vs carburator for 125CC auto bike

Hi guys,

 

need some help desperately. Im having a dilemma between getting a carb 2nd hand auto bike and a new EFI auto bike.

 

I've already read alot about all the pros and cons of an EFI and a carb and what gives better performance and whatnot etc. And personally for someone like me who is totally un-bike-mechanics savvy, i am all for the EFI since it also gives me what i wan specifically better FC, better throttle response and easy cold start up with supposedly less hassle than a carb which requires regular tuning. (i wouldnt know how to tune a carb for nuts though it'd be easy to roll the bike to any bike shop who can fix it for me unlike the EFI)

 

Problem is, i also heard how once EFI breaks down, its a nightmare much worse than when the carb does, in terms of time and cost.

 

I was hoping to garner some opinions of those who are riding EFI versions now, esp if its a small cc auto bike... as to whether its true that it hardly breaks down (given no abuse of course) and what are the chances of the occasional maintenance costing more than the regular servicing of a carb version in the long run.

Is it worth it?

I also found out that the EFI system for the daelim b bone comes from China (though the bike is mainly from korea) and am a lil worried.

 

Anyone care to share their opinions between these 2? Im just hoping for something more hassle-free and easy riding performance as its just a means of transportation for me.
