is x1 is reliable bike? like the engine, does it often give probem? just to clarify it's a 4 stroke so should be ok right? and it's definetely fuel efficient coz it's a cub. let's say if i were to get a x1 is it advisable?

As a 3 year X1R owner, i can advise that in my case the bike has been 100% reliable, low fuel consumption, cheap maintenance and couldnt really be happier with it as a commuter bike. Fuel consumption increases if i ride it above 90km/hr on expressway, but unless im in a real hurry ill usually just sit around 80-90 which is what the traffic flow does most of the time anyway, and it is very efficient at those speeds.

I think Honda and Yamaha both you cant really go wrong, but i like the style of the yamaha's more. Yes its a 4 stroke (so no blowing smoke or nasty lawnmower sound)

So I would say its advisable. Hope that helps you somewhat, cheers

bber,

If you looking for a transport bike, cheap n good. low maintance, cheap repair. X1,X1R will be great or any others cubs. i believe all bikes will tends to be abused in anyway tat you think is abused.

Me riding a X1 just last month, well i am very satisfy with my X1, i can hit 160-180km/tank(3 Litres +) travelling at 110km/h when at expressway, and 70-80km/h on normal road.

cheers...
