i'm using da original footrest. Erm, i'm not sure abt da gear oil cos i jus bring out my bike... And 1 more problem, when i'm slowing down i kick down my gear to 1 and when i kick down sommore i hear grinding sound. Why huh?

my bike oso got the same grinding sound wen changing to lower gears. u should try going back to the shop u bought the bike from and inform the problem.

i think u should most probably change ur oil. gear oil or 4T depending.. try using maxima gear oil.. fully synthetic. there is a post about maxima products here try to look around.

normally i change down my gear wen the engine is at low rpm. and try to kick fully down especially from gear 2 to gear 1. coz for my bike, if i kick softly there will be a cranking sound. this is what i experienced for my bike... so mayb u should ask ur frens who are riding sp oso whether they encounter the same problem..

clutch problem?

If i am not wrong there is 5 or 6 pcs of Clutch plates which you must change if wore out. Clutch plates Wore out you can hear a 'tuck tuck tuck' sound around your engine.
