Can someone pls speak up for d Garment. Objectively of cos. So dat we can see 2 sides of d stories

 

We have the most complex sewage system, water system, power grid. MRT is slowly catching up, within the next 5 years, you can literally throw your car away.

 

However, such intricate system of delivery, is tricky if we continue to use cheap, dont know how to cross the road FT to run the system, bound to screw up big time. Already i see we are having a rubbish dumping problem, where are we gona dump all the rubbish for 6.5m people?

 

We started off the best, now we are losing grip and lossing money fast. Already some of the old guards ministers, the ones who can walk and talk less rubbish are leaving or retiring, they are probably sick and tired of all the nonsense anyway.

sure.. let me name you their good deeds

1) cpf = started as : a superb idea and concept.. help people to save $ and employer to contribute to workers.. use it to pay medicial,housing etc.. BUT ended up they used it to invest in their own interests wrongly and delay the withdrawal due date.

 

2) HDB housing = started as :all people own house .. good !! but MBT came in and rise rise rise... their pocket bigger and our debts too.. , ended up FT bought all of it .. haha

 

3)GRC =started as : having multiple races to run it so that no minor races will be left out. .. ended up those low class minister used it as back door to gain entry back to their 15k monthly pay

 

4) coe = started as concept to control vehicles so that they won't jam our roads.. ended up our road still jam.. and who else in the world gotta pay the bloody cert to own a car AFTER you bought the car

 

5) ERP = started as suck peoples $ and is working wonderfully...

The PAP at first made policies for the benefit of the people but as they had lost trillions

of dollars of our national reserves thru GIC n Temasek Holdings gambling,

 

They had no choice but to find ways and means and literally ways and means to make money from the average Singaporeans which means that every policy they had ever passed is put under the microscope and reconfigured to squeeze anything they can get from the average man/woman.

 

Even to the point that they will put our lives and habits under a microscope just to see whether they can make money from it.

 

I mean look at what has changed these past few years noticably, did u see sooooo many environment officer running around fining litter bugs? Yes there are ppl that get caught littering last time and of course its an anti social habit but to station hundreds of these officers with targets to catch litter bugs everyday .. wow i mean the govn must be damn desperate to fatten their piggy banks right?

 

Look at cigarette smoking.. the prices of ciggs kept on going higher and higher and higher and they put so many officers trying to catch contraband cigg smokers plus do checks and fine ppl smoking at non designated areas. Yes smoking is bad but again they must be really desperate enuf for money to create a department in the ICA to go around do such a task rite?

 

Next parking.... it used to be those aunties that walk around fining car/motorbikes still sometimes can talk and negotiate summore but now they have subcontracted the job to certis etc cos if u get a corporation to do such a job, definitely they will be out to maximise profits and so u get situation where these certis officers waiting around ambushing ppl that did not put parking tickets, late to renew their parking tickets etc...

 

i think u can find sooooo many examples that 10-15 years ago, it was not so bad....

but now, when u walk out from the house u walk around thinking did i commit any offence? Did i drop my parking coupon when i left the carpark and later the env officer will come and fine me? Did i smoke at the wrong place and later the officer catch me? Hmmm i bought ciggs from JB so better not smoke out of the house later kena caught. Err did i park my car/bike at the wrong place later kena fine again. I never do any crime against humanity but have to worry so much like a criminal

 

it is really suffocating living in sg but no matter what, it is still our home.

just be careful about flat prices now, you be committed to a 30year chain, aka loan. The high prices are just shortage demand, not asthetic, location, or scenery. If all the people gone or migrated, your flat value will drop. But you are still chained.

Yes politics is dirty, look at taiwan. Watching their parliament in session is like watching soap opera cum boxing match.

 

But is the country doing well? If they can produce sooo many technology companies such as lenovo, acer, aopen etc they must be technologically advanced rite?

they are ranked no 36 on the democracy index whilst Singapore is no 82 and considered a hybrid REGIME.

 

 

So the politicans we vote into parliament are supposed to do our fighting for us instead of us coming in to fight for it. We pay their salaries anyway and from the looks of it, the ruling party is paid multi million dollar salaries and instead of fighting for us they are out to embezzle our cpf money away thru their GIC and Temasek holdings investment companies.

 

What do we end up with? More foreign workers coming here to take our jobs away, higher hdb prices JUMPING HIGHER, cpf drawout age go from 55 to 62 to later 65, minimum sum policy to llimit the amout of cash we can get from our CPF, interest rates of CPF of all accounts including the medisave and special accounts dropped to 2.5%, inflation going higher and higher now @5% in 2011 whilst CPF interest rates of Ordinary account is only 2.5% (meaning our money is devaluing itself in the CPF) all bCos the govn bankrupted our CPF and cannot pay us our CPF money back so steal from us,

Mas Selamat affair which WKS say its an honest mistake?!, floods at orchard, Youth Olymipics Games 3 times over budget, NKF TT Durai saga n goh chok tong's wife say $600k salary is "peanuts", SKY HIGH COE and ERP but still the roads are jammed and sooooo many matters lah.

 

N yet the PAP can have the cheek to find ways and means to make us take the blame for any of their failures and will always say that what they did is for our good.

 

Why this happens, simple reason cos we let them(PAP) win totally and we did not vote any opposition into parliament except TKL and CST to fight against them! So they suka suka do what they want and bash their way thru with whatever policies they want to install.

 

So this time plslah, vote the opposition to make our politicians fight for us and our matters and not let a single party think that they OWN the whole of Singapore and can do anything they want.

 

Singapore is not PAP, examples like Taiwan, Japan who has changed govn many times and even after the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear crisis the ppl are as united as ever and even Malaysia too whom has messy politics but the country still ok leh alot of singaporeans are always looking foward on their long holidays to drive up there and go sightseeing rite, no crazy civil war like africa or libya rite.. (if we dun get more democracy and voices into parliament and more ppl get angry and angrier, we might end up like libya, egypt etc who had been living under a despotic regime rule jus like us)

 

 

 

So pls vote for the opposition to counter the despotic regime before it becomes too late, either too many singaporeans get angry or they go transfer our national reserves money to some cayman island or swiss bank account and run away with it.

 

N pls realise that Singapore belongs to its ppl not the PAP.

Here's food for thought. Imagine those PAP 'talk only people' were in opposition shoes, would they come forward to run opposition? Its like comparing a boy says he has experience firing fire arm, actually all learn from computer games and is delusional confidence, compared to a libyan boy who really discharge assault rifle in a real war zone. Do you think all those mp can run a country? Sg is so small, you can easily find a village headman aka US or China mayor run the whole island for a much cheaper price than our whole cabinet.
