people are sensitive about openly talking about problems with their bikes on the open forum because they may still want to sell their bikes one day, and it is only with this in mind that i sent a PM, so I could help with problems privately.

 

if the OP has no problems with that then of course let's discuss it openly. anyway i haven't heard back from him.

HI all,this is an open forum.Our bike is not protected of problems even if its a small one.Sharing is caring.Anyway most of us here tends to hold our bird til the end of life and some juz wanna have a thrill of having one.no offence to you MAB,but i believe thats y the forum is set-up here.I've logged on to CBRXX forum be it in Europe or US where English is power,i've still find some S'poreans in it.Some are skeptical of revealing their problems here and yes the fear of having pple noe the problems can hinder them from selling their bike to others,but ppl will still find out as bike shops are not gd in keeping secrets,when other bikers ask wats wrong,they will juz tell them wat happen.So.....anything to share??

i think the only full system approved for BB was the Yoshi tri-oval that some slow turtlel is selling... as for the akras only the slip ons are available... where u getting the pipes from? if from shop then they shd know wat... if from another forummer then he shd have the certs.. if from ebay.. forget it.........

i tink PC3 is just an upgrade of PC2

There were more features in PC3

example the led, usb and ability to modify the maps

from a laptop etc etc

for a pre 00 BB the PC2 will suffice

but since it has been discontinued the PC3 can be used

on the earlier models of the BB

the PC3 is not to be confused to the PC3R that had alot of problems

u can still use a PC5 for the pre 00 BBs

just tat most of the features would be redundant
