glad that u guys are picking up on essay writning !!

Anyway, i would like to invite all of u for a simple hari raya gathering at my house on 9th october, next friday at about 9 pm, instead of meeting at evans. After that my mrs say i can follow u guys riding .. Yahooooooo !! No need to buy bread or prata ..

Mrs, mrs-to-be and non-mrs are invited too .. Can bring along children too .. Sorry, no ketupat, lontong or rendang .. Just call it a simple bb at evans and kakis simple family reunion..

However, need u guys to help me by confirming ur attendance so that my mrs knows how many chickens to slaughter and jugs of teh 'o' to make. Sms me at 96-92-91-71. I will sms u my address or u can come or check with bro circa .. He knows where i stay ..

So guys .. Looking forward to see all of u under one roof ... Chitot ..... No orgy lah .. Hihihihhihihi

Well hereâ€™s the ride report

I met with a friend at about 8.30am at GP Petronas....

The weather was good....

I decided to use the Beemer as my friend was riding the Cagiva..

We set off just before 9am into the NSH Highway

The ride up to Yong Peng was nothing interesting

We cruised within 140kmh..

the comfortable cruising speed for both bikes

We reached Yong Peng About 9.45..

Its a quiet town and we found ourselves an Indian store to have breakfast

The coffee was like the bestest Iâ€™ve tasted in a long time

The pratas huge and fluffy... I also liked the place cause the neighbour was blasting MODERN TALKING on his mini-compo.. Babes!!!!! Cheri Cheri Lady in the morning!!!!!!!....

As we decided to make our trip mainly back road exploring, we took the town road from Yong Peng to Ayer Hitam then to Kluang...

Traffic was manageable... maybe a little like our own heartlands..

The excitement really started when we took H'way 50.... The sweeping corners were awesome and shiok.. I was pushing the beemer up to 130 at some twisties.. it was that wide and that shiok... only problem is the corners were blind so cannot get too carried away....

Another problem is if there is a vehicle infront of u... no choice must follow until the long straight comes then overtake and enjoy the corners again.. thankfully the traffic was almost empty...

While in Kahang we came up to the Endau entrance (Peta)

My fren gave me a sly look and yes the temptation was too strong not to try abit... Throwing caution to the wind... we decided to go in and explore off road.... Abt 500m it was apparent it was a stupid idea..... not properly dressed and my front tyres were like really bald for off roading... as much as it was fun thrashing the rear feeling it slipping and slide i knew it was a matter of time before i would lose control of the front..... senses came to us just in time and we decided to turn back to normal road..... this time i lead the ride to Mersing and continued with the Kahang Hway... it was heavenly... They just re-paved the roads and it was super smooth and cooling.... Best of all there was suddenly ZERO traffic and I found myself pushing the bike further and faster..... Finally we came to the end opf the Hway and we rode up to Mersing again.. (This Hway alone is abt 100kms of winding roads)

We had a sumptuous lunch but Mersing is winding down already.. Moonsoon season is here and most of the ferry shops are already closed.... By then we had already rode 270Kms.. Really long way round

We decided to use the east coast road back to woodlands instead of backtracking Hway50 (Adventure mah)

We topped up our fuel and about 20kms into the twisties the sky rained hell on us...... visibility was almost zero and it was really a chore even turning the bikes at the twisties... abt 20kms into the rain it magically stopped and we sped up to make up for lost time as the clouds looked like it was going to pour again..... In another 7kms... The rain came heavier and harder......... After awhile it was just suicidal to ride and I looked out for the next shelter to stop... then saw an overturned car was parked on the opposite side of the road... Major reminder to STOP riding....... Finally saw a Bah Koot Teh shop to take cover........ I was drenched to the bone, shivering and cold.... I also started sneezing...Shanker even thou clad in raincoat was also wet to the bone.... So we waited the rain out and sipped on extra hot Chinese tea... The only hot drink the shop had......

We were very near Kota Tinggi town by then and after the rain subsided we decided to start our journey..... As soon as we reached Koto Tinngi Town.... there was a massive jam... They were widening the hway and the jam and tailback was all the way to Johore Town.... It was still raining and traffic on both sides of the road was crawling,,,,,

As I was too cold and I knew I was falling miserably sick

I went on the left in those small lanes meant for motorcycles...

that was an adventure itself because it was slippery with mud and mud trackes of lorries that went on the mud side road dirtying the lane.... Eventually we made it.... JB town traffic was quite heavy but after what we went through... it was nothing ... We finally cleared Customs at 5.15 and thankfully it was smooth....

Total mileage 410kms to Mersing HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Learnt a few valuable lessons for my iron butt ride

Anyway Im doing this ride again next sat...... But im not going to come back using Kota Tinggi... Probably Im going to go upwards from Mersing...

yo Jbat,clutch plates are ard 200+ if i'm not mistaken.For springs i suggest u use the Barnett clutch springs,it comes in a set of 6 pcs.U mata mata with anyone la cos 3 springs is gd enuff.How's ur nose cone?U managed to get that repaired?
Tot of using either B-king or Z1000 headlight or mebbe a GSR for it as i'm running naked....err i mean converting my bike to a naked street fighter.Gonna take a while before i can get it running so i'll juz stick ard in the forum and look see look see only.once i get my Bird running,definately i will be joining u guys for rides.....wa punya konek da gatal nak naik moto la......

The Barnett springs,do they have it ready on shelves of any store in Sg or need to ship in?..

I just leave the nose cone like that for now,maybe when i have the time,i'll disassemble the whole front nose cone,epoxy the crack,use some putty,sand and respray it back.

well here the ride report

THe barnett clutch spring is available,saw some at Tachyon motor near Dexing.As for ur front cowl,tink its best to get epoxy fixing on it.

The best way is to do a practise for ur iron butt is to follow one of the crackos for rides,dat will definately make ur butt harder that u wont feel a thing when somebody violated ur @ss:angel:

Beleive it or not there are ACTUALLY directional signs and signboards on the opposite side of the road... cant see them cause the rain was that heavy... The signs are about 15 to 20m away...

okie bros got some bad news... Our bro sham met with a serious accident yesterday in his car... The injuries are quite serious but not life threatening... He is currently warded at CGH... Zac will update us on the ward n details... For now i dun think we shd visit him as yet as he is still groggy from all the surgeries and would probably need more... We can go see him after he gets his rest.... pls also try not to call him as yet...
